David Dang-Aoen
Flexologist
David Dang-aoen, MS, is a Flexologist with a master’s degree in Kinesiology and advanced degree certifications and specializations in Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Corrective Exercise, and Exercise & Sport Psychology. His approach combines evidence-based movement science with assisted stretching to help clients improve mobility, joint function, and overall movement quality.
David applies his background in biomechanics, motor control, and movement assessment to identify restrictions that affect posture, daily movement, and performance. Rather than treating flexibility as isolated muscle lengthening, he designs individualized stretch sessions that account for joint mechanics, neuromuscular control, and tissue adaptation.
David has served in diverse settings, including physical therapy clinics, hospital-based rehabilitation, and private-sector coaching. His experience spans post-injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, gait dysfunction, sport performance, and general strength development. His clinical training in orthopedic rehabilitation and corrective exercise allows him to work safely with a wide range of clients, including those recovering from injury, managing chronic stiffness, or transitioning back into regular movement. Informed by principles from exercise and sport psychology, David emphasizes clear communication, client education, and consistency to support long-term results.
David’s goal as a Flexologist is to help clients move with greater ease, confidence, and awareness through intentional, science-driven stretching.
