Born and raised in upstate NY exercise and fitness has always been important to me. I received my Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Performance and Health Promotion from SUNY Morrisville. I had the opportunity to work with the athletic training department for 3 years helping the athletes prepare and recover from games and practices. I’m a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine. As a personal trainer I’ve had the opposite to work with a wide range of clients from professional athletes to wheelchair bound stroke victims. As a flexologist at Strechlab I look forward to helping you be able to live your life better.

I am a Yoga Instructor and NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a Degree in Nutrition. I have a passion for health and wellness, diving into learning all that I can. When I first graduated and then went on to get my certifications, there was a huge gap in practicing preventative health and I wanted to motivate others to begin taking their own health into their own hands. Now that more and more people are getting into fitness and eating more healthfully, I now focus on other aspects of wellness such as Yoga, Meditation, and breathwork to have a well rounded approach to health. Stretch Lab is another avenue that fills that gap of wellness. Everyone can benefit from stretching no matter what level of fitness you find yourself in and it is my goal to inspire you to gain a greater level of wellness on your health journey!

Hello friends! My name is Kate. I am a graduate in kinesiology from the University of Utah and I am currently pursuing my doctorate in physical therapy (I graduate December 2024, yay!). I traded the mountains for the beach 2 years ago and I currently live in Bolivia, NC. My husband is a chef so we are big foodies and love trying new restaurants and cuisines. I also enjoy paddle boarding, reading, playing board games, and snuggling my fur babies, Frankie and Marshall. I am passionate about fitness, along with physical and mental health. I cannot wait to meet you and help you through health and fitness journey!

I am originally from Mooresville, NC, where I grew up spending most of my time playing soccer and maintaining a weekly gym routine. I have always had a strong passion for fitness and health, and my interest for the practice of yoga sparked in high school when I started utilizing it for stretching and flexibility purposes. After practicing a few times, I discovered that yoga was much more than a flexibility tool, and it soon became one of my greatest passions. The impact that yoga and a regular exercise regime had on my mental, physical, and emotional health led me to delve even deeper into educating myself on the "why" and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I then relocated to Wilmington to pursue my Bachelors degree in Exercise Science as well as a minor in Yoga Studies. In Spring of 2022, I graduated with my Bachelors of Science and my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification. Since graduating, I have found myself interning in Strength and Conditioning settings, working in Physical Therapy clinics, and gaining exposure teaching within the yoga community. After discovering that Physical Therapy was not for me, I soon after found StretchLab. I knew right away that assisted stretching would be right up my alley. I am so excited to work with a variety of clients and assist them in overcoming the restricting barriers that have been limiting their quality of life. My free time is spent walking the loop, practicing yoga, cooking and baking, going to the beach, and tending to my houseplants!

I have always had a passion for health and fitness stemming from being an avid sports fan growing up. I recently relocated from Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Exercise Science. In my time at the U of I, I spent time working with many different populations on their health and fitness, but mainly with a high school strength and conditioning program. It was there that I began to realize the importance of mobility training. If you don't move well it makes every aspect of life more difficult, whether that is being able to compete in your sport or just being able to take part in the sport of life. I look forward to improving your life one stretch at a time!
