After years in sales, sales management & the food/beverage industry, I have taken my passions for yoga, wellness, & exercise and given them my full time attention. After practicing yoga for 15 years, I became a certified yoga instructor and Reiki I practitioner in 2017. I also represent a USDA certified organic CBD manufacturer and believe in the safe and significant benefits it has on the body. Along with a regular yoga practice and fitness schedule, I am an avid skier. My other passions are gardening, cooking and my walking in the woods with my awesome Australian Shepard. Working as a Flexoligist with StretchLab is an amazing addition to my expertise in working with the human body. Our stretch sessions are proven to enable clients to excel in their functional and fitness goals. I look forward to working together with you by creating an individual plan that will meet and exceed your expectations of the StretchLab experience.

I am a NASM certified personal trainer and Stretching & Flexibility Coach. Growing up, I was aware of the benefits of stretching and flexibility as I spent many hours in the dance studio. In 2018, I began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and currently coach childrens and adults classes at my gym as well as run a weekly stretching and mobility class. While working through a back injury in 2016, I had my first experience with assisted stretching and it changed my life. A passion for pain free mobility was ignited. I am absolutely thrilled to have found StretchLab and assist my clients on their individual mobility journeys!

Health and fitness have been a passion of mine for as long as I could remember. I started getting into fitness and health at a very young age, educating myself and taking part in different sports and courses. I played D1 Soccer in college and I am currently a Mixed Martial Artist working towards competing Professionally. I worked as a Personal Trainer for MIT at the age of 18 and I worked with a lot of people in helping them achieve their goals physically in a way that’s healthy and fun. I attend UMASS Lowell for my Health and Science degree as I enjoy learning about the human body and applying my knowledge to help people feel better physically. After I complete college, I plan on working as a full-time Physical Therapist.

Throughout years of being a multi sport athlete, every season, I myself overused my body quite a bit. Overtime I learned more about caring for my body with preventative stretching, maintenance to heal injuries, and the importance of relieving tension in areas I used often. I went through physical therapy and knew this type of health field was for me. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science followed by my Masters Degree in Exercise Science and Sports Science at Merrimack College. While I was in school I experienced working in the field as a personal trainer, physical therapy aide, as well as working with the geriatric population in a memory care facility. Improving the lives of others in any way possible is something I aim for everyday. Becoming a flexologist at StretchLab allows me to proudly take that step of educating others while improving their health and providing comfort during their day to day life.

To say I have a varied background is an understatement. I am a former NCAA Division I wrestler for Boston University with a degree in Film and Broadcasting. I was nominated for an Emmy in 2010 for my work on NOVA ScienceNow. I am an assistant wrestling and track and field coach at Phillips Academy Andover. I love to stay fit and like to do a little of everything. I run ultra-marathons, compete in Olympic distance triathlons, downhill ski, cross country ski, water ski, fat bike, and lift weights. I realized many years ago that stretching was going to be an integral way of preventing injuries and increasing range of motion to improve performance. I can definitively say that stretching has saved me from long term injuries and has improved my performance in many of my activities. My passion is leading people to a place where they are pain free, and able to do all the things they love, whether that is playing with the kids or competing in the Boston Marathon. I am also a certified lifeguard, Precision Nutrition Level – 1 nutrition coach, dad of 2, and lover of bad puns.

Being an active person my whole life has certainly led to some aches and pains. These are what lead me to my educational background at Merrimack College. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and am in graduate school for my Master’s in Athletic Training. Through my experience and education, I have learned just how important it is to maintain full body wellness, no matter your age or fitness background. I love being active outdoors hiking, walking, kayaking, etc. I also like to stay fit boxing, weightlifting, doing yoga, and participating in Spartan races. Athletic Training gives me the connection between athletics and healthcare, and Stretch Lab gives me the opportunity to deepen that connection to overall wellness for people from all walks of life.

I am a current Athletic Training Graduate Student at Merrimack College, recently completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science also at Merrimack College. From my clinical experiences as an Athletic Training student and my personal experiences as an active human, I believe that stretching is underutilized. When stretching is correctly performed, the benefits are remarkable: increased joint range of motion, decreased pain, restoration of range of motion post-injury, improved posture, reduces the risk of future injury, and improved performance during everyday activities. Between Athletic Training and StretchLab, I am able to bring my connections to wellness and recovery to whole new levels. I am excited to share my knowledge and help you meet your personal goals!
