I am a certified Yoga Instructor and Foundation Training Instructor and have been teaching for 4 years in-studio and privately. Outside of work, most of my time is spent in the ocean! Surfing is my passion, but I also enjoy swimming and sailing or any water sport really! I love to hike and backpack as a way to explore all the nature that Santa Barbara has to offer. Yoga, Stretching, and Meditation are my go-to self practices that keep me doing the things I love! I have always felt a strong calling to help people heal and better themselves. Working at StretchLab gives me the opportunity to pursue that. It’s amazing to watch people grow and achieve their goals physically and mentally! In turn, it helps me better myself and that is such a beautiful exchange! StretchLab builds community and I love that the most!

I am currently getting my Masters in Kinesiology at California State University Northridge. I specialize in Adapted Physical Activity because I enjoy making movement accessible to people of all ages and abilities. I have over 2 years clinical experience with stretching and strengthening, leading group exercise sessions, and lifeguarding. I also know how to evaluate and develop exercise programs for individuals based on their unique needs and preferences. My two favorite things are cooking and backpacking. I love being outdoors and away from everything because it totally reframes my approach to life and slows me down. I also love swimming and practicing yoga. StretchLab is an amazing community to be a part of because they promote long term healthy and wellness through movement. By determining what imbalances and compensations are present in your body, we are able to create an individualized plan to get your body back in alignment. Our workouts are streamlined to target the exact areas that need help, so that you feel better and pain free sooner. I love StretchLab because it allows people from all walks of life to get back on track towards a healthy, happy lifestyle.

My experience includes being a yoga teacher and photographer. I love playing and creating music, learning new musical instruments, doing yoga, playing capoeira, hiking and photographing people and nature. I love being able to express myself in various avenues, from mental creativity with music, or physical expression with capoeira - its like flowing with the flow of life! StretchLab allows me to benefit individuals in a personable one-on-one environment - I love being able to help people get more in tuned with their bodies, learn how to engage new muscles, and mindfully use their bodies for better health and safety.

I am a CMT and Rosen Method Practitioner with private somatic therapy practice in Berkeley. I studied Ashtanga yoga with Richard Freeman and I continue to enjoy teaching hands on adjustments to yoga teachers. These bodywork skills translate into the assisted stretching environment where I hold a space for people to experience their own range with compassion!

After graduating from Westmont College with a BS in Kinesiology, I proceeded to get my personal training certification (CSCS) and have been the head trainer at a local gym for the past year. I have years of experience working in a physical therapy clinic which has given me insight on corrective movements and sound biomechanics. I enjoy all aspects of movement but find myself as a performance oriented individual, trying to push my boundaries in the weightroom and out in nature. I appreciate that StretchLab emphasizes often overlooked aspects of performance in the form of mobility, stability, and recovery. I am so excited for my journey as a Flexologist surrounded by positive and like-minded people!

I grew up in Santa Barbara and have always been passionate in healthcare and enabling individuals to reach their goals. I recently graduated from California State University, Northridge Athletic Training Program in May of 2020 and received my certification in Athletic Training in June of that year. I have 3 years of experiencing working with high school (Saint Francis), junior college (SBCC & Moorpark), and four-year (UCLA) in diagnosis, prevention, and rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries. Additionally, I have worked at a multifaceted healthcare clinic and delivered 1-on-1 care for patients of all ages. Lastly, I am a certified Functional Range Conditioning Movement Specialist (FRCms). I grew up golfing since the age of 6 and competed in tournaments throughout high school and 2 years of college. Now you can catch me playing beach volleyball, spikeball, slacklining, longboarding and hanging out at the beach. I also can appreciate a good hike and eating a burrito while watching the sunset. StretchLab allows me to build professional relationships with people of all backgrounds and promote healthy lifestyle changes. The team dynamic makes working at StretchLab worthwhile.

I am a bi-national certified Yoga instructor for the last 7 years (Mexico/USA) & Massage Therapist for 2 years (licensed in Mexico). Originally from Oaxaca, known as the most magical and healing city in Mexico. I spent the last 6 years honing up my skills as a massage therapist after a collapse in my health due to hypothyroidism. Prior to this diagnosis, I was an avid ½ marathon runner, but the illness had me bed ridden for three months. It was then I decided to commit myself to seek alternative holistic & healing therapies. During this search, I discovered StretchLab, where I can assist people to get in tuned with their body and mind connection through the process of stretching. I bring an understanding of body mechanics, pain management, and stress relief, with a deep understanding of how to process trauma in all forms. My happiest space is practicing early meditation with mantra chanting, Pranayama (breathing technique), log walks with my pooch Logan, hiking and reading a good book.

I’ve been a Physical Therapy Aide for 4 years in an outpatient orthopedic, chronic pain, and neurological setting in the North Bay Area. Currently, I am in my 2nd year of a Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. I love to do anything that keeps me moving! Mainly basketball, weight training, boxing, running, cycling, and dancing. StretchLab allows me to educate people on stiff areas of their body that contribute to their movement struggles or pain and help them manage that through the power of stretching!

If I am not dancing, painting, doing aerial silks, and singing, then you can find me climbing the hills of Santa Barbara! I love being out in nature, and I love connecting with other people, laughing and having fun. From the time that I was young, I was involved in dancing, aerial silks, and yoga which gave me a great start to learning how to maintain my body without injury, and give the best performance to my craft. Now as a professional in the movement world, I am certified as a 200 hour Asana yoga instructor and trainer in therapeutic yoga (Levels I & II), Hands on Healing and our specialized StretchLab FTP Flexologist Certification. I love my work, and I love connecting with the members to help them reach their goals. Working with me, we will use the breath, and deep targeted stretching to help you relax and allow your body to open and strengthen. I look forward to meeting you!
