If I am not dancing, painting, doing aerial silks, and singing, then you can find me climbing the hills of Santa Barbara! I love being out in nature, and I love connecting with other people, laughing and having fun. From the time that I was young, I was involved in dancing, aerial silks, and yoga which gave me a great start to learning how to maintain my body without injury, and give the best performance to my craft. Now as a professional in the movement world, I am certified as a 200 hour Asana yoga instructor and trainer in therapeutic yoga (Levels I & II), Hands on Healing and our specialized StretchLab FTP Flexologist Certification. I love my work, and I love connecting with the members to help them reach their goals. Working with me, we will use the breath, and deep targeted stretching to help you relax and allow your body to open and strengthen. I look forward to meeting you!

I come from a Physical Therapy background, having experience working with Outpatient Neuro Rehab and Outpatient Orthopedics. I’m currently in my 2nd year of my Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at the University of St. Augustine for Health and Sciences. I have hands-on experience with stretching, tissue work, joint manipulations and nerve manipulations. Movement is medicine and as a movement specialist I know the value and benefits of staying active and its impact on being pain free. A bit about me, I used to play soccer, volleyball and track. I also work at a gym so I’m also a huge believer of not only stretching a muscle but also strengthening it! I look forward to meeting you and helping you get back to what you love to do!

I played sports all throughout grade school and recently graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. I am also Certified Personal Trainer from NASM and currently working as a Personal Trainer at a gym. I am also pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy program for the Fall 2023 semester. I love to work out and be active as much as possible. I spend most of my free time lifting at the gym, playing golf and basketball with friends, and going to the beach. I am passionate about learning more everyday about the human body and how to care/coach people to take care of their physical and mental health. What I love about StretchLab is that I can truly make a great difference in someone’s life and how they experience physical activity. I believe our bodies are designed to move so working at StretchLab gives me the opportunity to help others be active and move pain/stress free! It is extremely rewarding to see everyone’s progress in flexibility and ultimately living a happier life because of stretching.

I began my journey in the health and wellness field in 2013 with athletic training, and that is what inspired me to dig deeper into the field. In 2019 I received my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition Science with an emphasis in physical therapy. I Have worked in outpatient physical therapy clinics with a wide demographic of patients coming in with different needs. I am a strong believer in the importance of the mind and body connection, and how feeling well physically really influences people to feel better mentally. Being able to be a part of individuals’ healing journey and regain their freedom of movement is what has motivated me to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy program. When I am not working with patients or clients, I love going on nature walks with my dog, chasing sunsets, and enjoying the beach. StretchLab is such a special place for me because we really are a big family. My teammates are so supportive and I love that we all share a passion for helping others and having an incredible drive to see each and every one of our clients improve their mobility and surpass their goals.

I attended my first yoga class at 15 because of back problems, unaware of the incredible journey the practice would lead me to. My teaching career began over 18 years ago. I have always had a passion and knowledge for movement, but discovered how to move more mindfully and live more consciously through yoga. Dedication to my practice has led me toward excellent health, strength and peace. Teaching in all different aspects of mind and body connection has contributed to my creative style and desire to provide tools to help teach the body and mind to work as one. Teaching brings me the most joy because it encourages people to live with stability, mobility and happiness. Outside of the studio, I enjoy hiking, spending time in nature, walking my dog at the beach, taking pictures, spending time with my family, practicing flow and and restorative yoga and dancing in the rain. Working at StretchLab has given me the tools to create movement in the body and connect awareness to the importance of of how flexibility can help to have a healthy body and enjoy the simplicities of daily life.

I am a Kinesiologist with six years of experience in the athletic industry working with clients recovering from injuries ranging from sprains to post-operative rehabilitation. My focus was to help them to heal, regain range of motion, flexibility, and strength and return to their sport and everyday activities. Additionally, I have over eight years of experience in aqua therapy, using water as a medium to help in the rehabilitation process. I love to do new things, especially those that bring me into nature! In my free time, I can almost always be found swimming laps at the local pool, hiking, or enjoying the sun on the beach. StretchLab allows me to do what I love, educating and helping clients understand their bodies. Thus, allowing them to optimize how it functions and enabling each client to feel their best through the power of stretching!

I have my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from Westmont. During my time there, I spent time as a Student athletic trainer and performance enhancement specialist when I wasn't practicing as a Collegiate distance runner. I love to cook for friends and family, and I also deeply enjoy running and lifting. Really any form of working out is enjoyable to me. I enjoy reading and listening to music as well as playing my guitarl. StretchLab is an amazing opportunity to work with people in a new mode of performance enhancement. I deeply enjoy being able to provide relief and provide those I work with more information about stretching and how to further improve not just their flexibility, but their life from a holistic perspective.

I grew up in Carpinteria, but ended up moving to Oxnard to play soccer for Oxnard College and continued at California Lutheran University. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2018 and am currently pursuing my dream to get my doctorate in Physical Therapy, at the University of St. Augustine. I enjoy learning about the human body and how we move throughout our daily activities. I like to stay active by going on runs, long walks with my dog Simba and working out.
