      Charlene has her Bachelor’s degree in geophysics from UC Berkeley and her ACE Group Fitness and Samata Yoga certifications. Charlene got into the fitness industry because she understood the benefits of strategic movement and loved moving to driving music in group fitness classes. She believes stretching is important because it is complementary to all fitness modalities, her favorite stretch is the standing hip flexor/quad stretch. Outside of StretchLab she likes to play beach volleyball, swim, and run. A fun fact about Charlene is she checked out of the country for 6 months and traveled through the South Pacific and Asia!

      Chineme has his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University. He is also currently running track and field and pursuing a second degree in nursing. Chineme got into the fitness industry because he has a love for exercise and athletics. He believes stretching is important because it helps prevent injuries and his favorite stretch is the calf stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes to go out to the track and train with his club team. A fun fact about Chineme is his fastest 100 meter dash time is 10.52 seconds!

      Lauren has her bachelor degree in kinesiology from CSU Long Beach. She is also pursuing her doctorate of physical therapy. Lauren got into the fitness industry because she is a dancer. She believes stretching is important because it improves mobility and promotes healthy muscles, her favorite stretch is the hamstring stretch. Outside of StretchLab she likes anime, video games, and hiking. A fun fact about Lauren practices martial arts!

      Yazid is working towards his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Cal State Long Beach and has his certification in personal training. He is also working towards getting a doctorate in physical therapy and currently also works as an aide in a physical therapy clinic. Yazid got into the fitness industry because he has always loved playing sports and being active.He believes stretching is important because it helps minimize injuries when performing activities and improve overall daily well-being, his favorite stretch is the upper trap stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes playing basketball, going to concerts, and discovering new food. A fun fact about Yazid is that he has lived in three different countries!

      Brandon is a Certified Mobility Specialist and has his certifications in functional range conditioning, TRX, and fitness mentors. He is also a musician and pursuing ownership of a music production studio. Brandon got into the fitness industry because he enjoys progressing the mobility of others. He believes stretching is important because when you increase range of motion and flexibility you are then able to increase your functional mobility, his favorite stretch is the hamstring stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes surfing, dancing, sketching, and hiking. A fun fact about Brandon is that he almost got swept away crossing a river!

      Jenna has her Bachelor’s degree in sociology from Cal Poly Pomona and NASM personal training certification. She is also a behavioral therapist and pursuing pediatric occupational therapy. Jenna got into the fitness industry after completing her collegiate career of track and field and pursuing Olympic weightlifting she wanted to spread her passion for fitness. She believes stretching is important because it allows individuals the freedom to move throughout their daily life pain free, her favorite stretch is the piriformis stretch. Outside of StretchLab she likes road trips, playing board games, and hanging out with her friends. A fun fact about Jenna is her go-to karaoke song is Down With The Sickness!

      Kalyn has her Bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology from Grand Canyon University. She is also in the process of pursuing her Master’s degree in occupational therapy. Kalyn got into the fitness industry because she grew up playing a lot of sports and was around sports-minded people in her family. She believes stretching is important because she has personally benefited from stretching and believes in the effects of it, her favorite stretch is the Thomas stretch. Outside of StretchLab she likes to be with her friends and family. A fun fact about Kalyn is that she played flag football at the age of five!

      Luis has his Bachelor’s of science degree in kinesiology from California State University of Los Angeles. He is also in the physical therapist assistant program at Cerritos College. Luis got into the fitness industry because he plays soccer and enjoys working out. He believes stretching is important because it can be preventative and help with longevity. His favorite stretch is the hamstring stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes playing soccer, hiking, and watching movies. A fun fact about Luis is that he likes to study the stock market!

      Charles has his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from San Jose State University. He is also a data scout for college football/basketball and is currently a coach at Crossroads in Santa Monica. Charles got into the fitness industry because he has a deep passion for sports and improving performance, his favorite stretch is the adductor stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes to play basketball and watch movies. A fun fact about Charles is that he is the leading male role in a movie his brother made!
      Ashlyn H.

      Ashlyn studied sports medicine and anatomical kinesiology at Bellevue College and has NASM Personal training and Animal Flow certifications. They are also an artist, chef, writer, and nomad, and pursuing a year long road trip across the US. Ashlyn got into the fitness industry to give back to their community, and help people feel at home in their bodies. They believe stretching is important because it gives people a chance to check in with their bodies, and offset all the work we do day to day. Their favorite stretch is the figure 4 stretch. Outside of StretchLab they like distance running, rock climbing, and catching the sunrise. A fun fact about Ashlyn is that they have lived in 8 states!

      Dwight has a Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton and ACE personal training certification. He also works as a personal trainer with a focus in strength and conditioning and weight loss. He is pursuing going to nursing school. Dwight got into fitness because seeing progress in real time is very motivating for him and he wants to share that with other people to help them reach their goals. He believes mobility is crucial to overall quality of life and to prevent injuries, his favorite stretch is the QL stretch. Outside of StretchLab he enjoys going to the gym. A fun fact about Dwight is he used to do powerlifting competitions!

      Kurt currently goes to CSU Long Beach and is in his last year of his bachelor's degree in kinesiology & exercise science program and has his NASM personal trainer certification. He currently also works as a personal trainer and is working towards being a physical therapist. Kurt got into fitness and stretching during the pandemic. He believes improving and maintaining mobility along with strength is an important aspect to better quality of life and his favorite stretch is the worlds' greatest stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes to do competitive powerlifting and to play video games with his friends. A fun fact about Kurt is he used to be in commercials and newspapers as a child in the Philippines!

      Kwanza has their Bachelors Degree in Psychologu from University of Laverne, Masters of Public Health from National University, Certification in Massage Therapy, and Yoga Teacher Certification. They are also a practicing Herbalist and Yoga Teacher. Kwanza got into the fitness industry because they became fascinated with the body/mind connection and its impacts on wellness, interpersonal relationships and overall life satisfaction. They believe stretching is important because mobility is vital for healthy aging and their favorite stretch is the piriformis. Outside of StretchLab they like to spend time in nature. A fun fact about Kwanza is they enjoy a DIY. They once did a full bathroom remodel after watching YouTube videos!
