    Charlene has her Bachelor’s degree in geophysics from UC Berkeley and her ACE Group Fitness and Samata Yoga certifications. Charlene got into the fitness industry because she understood the benefits of strategic movement and loved moving to driving music in group fitness classes. She believes stretching is important because it is complementary to all fitness modalities, her favorite stretch is the standing hip flexor/quad stretch. Outside of StretchLab she likes to play beach volleyball, swim, and run. A fun fact about Charlene is she checked out of the country for 6 months and traveled through the South Pacific and Asia!

    Yazid is working towards his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from Cal State Long Beach and has his certification in personal training. He is also working towards getting a doctorate in physical therapy and currently also works as an aide in a physical therapy clinic. Yazid got into the fitness industry because he has always loved playing sports and being active.He believes stretching is important because it helps minimize injuries when performing activities and improve overall daily well-being, his favorite stretch is the upper trap stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes playing basketball, going to concerts, and discovering new food. A fun fact about Yazid is that he has lived in three different countries!

    Charles has his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from San Jose State University. He is also a data scout for college football/basketball and is currently a coach at Crossroads in Santa Monica. Charles got into the fitness industry because he has a deep passion for sports and improving performance, his favorite stretch is the adductor stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes to play basketball and watch movies. A fun fact about Charles is that he is the leading male role in a movie his brother made!

    Brent has his Bachelor's degree in kinesiology from California Baptist University and graduated from CNI College for personal training. Additionally, he has certifications as a strength and conditioning coach, a holistic nutrition and lifestyle coach, a corrective exercise specialist, a performance enhancement specialist, and a human movement specialist. Currently he is pursuing his functional soft tissue transformation specialist certification through the Gray Institute. Brent got into the health and fitness industry because he loves seeing the transformative health he achieved in his own body and life through various health challenges and how he was able to overcome them through fitness and holistic healthy living. He believes stretching is important because as a bodybuilder suffering many injuries earlier on stretching helped decrease pain, increase range of motion, and improve posture the most. His favorite stretch is the QL stretch. Outside of StretchLab he likes to spend time with friends, family ,and his dog Baxter and loves to spend time outdoors hiking or just enjoying the great California weather! A fun fact about Brent is he is a professional auto detailer who has worked on many cars/trucks - exotic cars included!

    Michael has his certificates in Yin, Ashtanga, and Anatomy Yoga with emphasis on yoga assist through Mysore Yoga internship & apprenticeship. He also currently is working towards his 200 hour Yoga therapy certification and works as a Martial Arts instructor for kids & adults; holding a 2nd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do & a 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo! Michael got into the fitness industry because through personal experience he has seen how stretching and breathing can fix you and better your life; to help, heal & bring relief into someone's life is truly his passion. He believes that stretching with the breath is one of the most beneficial things a person can do for themselves and his favorite stretch is the supine lumbar rotation twist. Outside of StretchLab he likes to focus on his personal yoga practice, self care & doing anything outdoors with his beloved Pedro. A fun fact about Michael is he used to live in Sweden!

    Briyanda holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from California State University Fullerton, as well as a degree in dance and a dance teaching certification. With over 20 years of dance experience, she developed a deep appreciation for movement and body awareness, which naturally led her into the fitness world. She believes that stretching is essential for maintaining joint health, preventing injury, enhancing overall wellness, and reducing pain. Her favorite stretch is the figure-four stretch. Outside of StretchLab Briyanda enjoys drawing, painting, reading, hiking, dancing, practicing Brazilian Jui-Jitsu, and attending live concerts. A fun fact about her is that she loves all things spooky and horror-related!

    Nate Guertler has his Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Southern California where he played football for the Trojans. He is also a certified personal trainer and currently works as a commercial real estate agent. Nate got into the fitness industry as it’s been a lifestyle of his since the age of 13 when he started high-school sports. He believes stretching is important as it promotes longevity and “hurts so good” and his favorite stretch is the hamstrings. Outside of StretchLab he likes horror movies and calisthenics. A fun fact about Nate is he loves Halloween!

    Oscar is a certified Massage Therapist and holds an Associate’s degree with an emphasis in Sport Rehabilitation from Fremont University. Oscar entered the fitness and wellness industry because he understands the importance of caring for our bodies through movement. Oscar believes stretching is key in reducing muscle tension and easing everyday stress. His favorite stretch is the seated assisted pec stretch. Outside of StretchLab, he enjoys hiking or relaxing at home while binge-watching a good show. A fun fact about Oscar is his cat’s name is Zeo!

    Gabriel is completing his Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise science and a minor in business entrepreneurship at CSU Long Beach. Gabriel got into the fitness industry because he likes supporting and motivating clients to reach their goals while prioritizing overall well-being and is excited to apply his knowledge as a Flexologist at StretchLab. He believes stretching is a foundational component of fitness, playing a key role in injury prevention, maintaining mobility, and optimizing physical performance; his favorite stretch is the upper trapezius stretch. Outside of StretchLab Gabriel enjoys weightlifting, swimming at the beach, and attending concerts and festivals. A fun fact about Gabriel is that he hiked Mount Fuji and watched the sunrise from the summit!
