I’ve been teaching yoga for 13 years mostly Hatha, Hot Yoga but also Yin style and yoga for cancer recovery. I’ve been a professional dancer for 15 years; classically trained in ballet and contemporary dance technique and teaching classical dance for most of those 15 years. I have a degree in English Communications with a minor in theater and 2 more years in Psychology and Research from Fort Lewis College. Activities I enjoy: I’m a Colorado Native so I’ve enjoyed 4 seasons of sports and outdoors activities all my life from rock climbing to cycling, kayaking, skiing (particularly Nordic and back-country), sky diving and mountaineering. I’m also a meditator, participating in regular retreats and I like to garden. I love working at StretchLab because I love working with the body and I get the opportunity to work with all variety of bodies and great people who are committed to their health. I believe quality of life and mobility are highly relatable. Stretching is a necessary tool that allows us to explore the world, enjoy a variety of activities and expression with comfort. I’ve also enjoyed the training and education I get working inside the Stretch Lab organization and I work with awesome people from different athletic backgrounds from whom I learn regularly.

I have been a yoga instructor since 2018. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science. I am also a barista which I thoroughly enjoy! I love playing with and taking my Bernese Mountain Dog, Apollo, to do anything outdoorsy. I love biking, drinking coffee, traveling to exotic places, and hanging out with friends at musical events. What I love about StretchLab is the opportunity to showcase my skills from my degree. It also gives me more insight into how to properly cue stretches and how they should feel in the body to better assist people in their daily activities.

I graduated form the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science. I have helped train collegiate athletes, post-cancer patients, and worked in a physical/occupational therapy hospital. When I am not working, I enjoy weight training/olympic powerlifting, hockey (go Avs!), and hiking. I have been away from CO for awhile, so I am excited to get back into skiing. What I enjoy most about working at StretchLab is how our stretch team works together to make sure people always leave better than when they come in!

I am certified as a NASM personal trainer and an NREMT EMT. I spent 4 years coaching Olympic lifting techniques, group fitness, and junior tennis classes. During my spare time I enjoy hanging with my husky pup, going to stand-up comedy shows, skydiving, cycling, skiing, and exploring Colorado. I admire people who take active roles in caring for their health at StretchLab, and this includes all my co-workers and clients. The ability to assist others in their pursuit of betterment gives me life!

My fitness journey started as a dancer being formally trained in contemporary dance methods and classical ballet for 15+ years. I’ve been certified through NASM and personal training clients for the past 8 ½ years with a focus on functional movement. Throughout my career I have also taught group fitness classes ranging from Barre, Reformer Pilates, and circuit style training. I am also a Certified Nutrition Coach through The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. With my eclectic background in the health and wellness space I believe a holistic approach is what truly makes up our wellbeing. In my spare time I love hiking, biking, kayaking, SUP boarding, weight lifting, yoga, binging space documentaries, coffee shop surfing, and exploring the culinary tastes of Denver any chance I get! I love working with clients at StretchLab LoHi because I get to build one on one relationships with people. I also love the science behind the stretch and helping clients receive that basic necessity of human touch. Getting to see clients feel good again in their bodies is why I’m excited to do the work that I do.
