I have been involved in the Health & Fitness industry for over a decade. After graduating from the American Academy of Personal Training in 2012, I began my profession as a Certified Personal Trainer at a few local gyms in the Providence area. I helped others to reach their goals, such as weight loss, muscle gain, and improving athletic performance. After completing an internship at “The Genius of Flexibility” in Boston, MA, I found my niche and passion in the area of assisted stretching. I continued my education in this modality by completing all levels of training in The Ki-Hara Method. I have melded all these experiences together in hopes of helping members at StretchLab to move and feel better. Outside of the studio, I coach and enjoy playing soccer. My other favorite activities can be found outdoors from walking my black lab, Maggie, to snowboarding and kayaking.

With over 30 years in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, I understand the importance of stretching. It is something I have stressed with clients over the years. I always include a significant of amount stretching during my clients sessions. Working at StretchLab was a easy decision for me and an extension of what I have already been doing. When I am not working, I can be found outside on land or in the water. I love mountain hiking & biking and I am avid surfer. I have surfed all over the world.

My journey with stretching and flexibility came at an early age in a gymnastics gym. I grew up in the gym and it is where I truly found my passion for movement and healing through movement. Now I coach gymnastics and help others find their joy for stretching. I currently hold my Associate degree in Exercise Science and am continuing on to earn my Bachelors of Exercise Science. From there, I plan on pursuing my goal of a doctorate of physical therapy. When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, surfing, and trying out new restaurants and cafes! StretchLab gives me the opportunity to help people achieve their goals and share my love for movement.

My personal love for health and fitness inspired me to become NASM certified in both personal training and nutrition. Starting in 2015, I became a personal trainer. Training allowed me to change many lives by helping people reach their goals, and I quickly realized that a career in health and wellness is what I was meant to do. Nutrition and exercise have always been at the top of everyone's health and wellness choices, and I'm ready to show others how flexibility, stretching, and mobility are just as important to helping people live a longer, healthier, more enjoyable life.

My path to StretchLab began in high school when I was fortunate enough to have a summer opportunity to shadow a doctor in a Physical Therapy practice. He became a great mentor to me and continued to guide me through my time at the University of Rhode Island where I received my bachelors degree in Kinesiology. I furthered my education at the University of South Florida studying physical therapy. As a person who has always had a great love for all sports, I continue to play golf, ice hockey, rock climbing, snow skiing, water skiing, bicycling and general physical fitness. I find that exercise, however you choose to do it, is invaluable for physical and mental well-being. I look forward to welcoming clients with all capabilities and ambitions. My personal hope is to guide you on your journey of reaching your own physical and wellness goals.

My name is Jordan, and I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During my education, I completed an internship with URI Athletics in the Sports Medicine Department and spent the past three years working in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinics, gaining hands-on experience helping people improve their movement, recovery, and overall function. I have always been passionate about health, wellness, and fitness. As a lifelong competitive cheerleader and dancer, I developed a deep appreciation for movement and the importance of caring for the body. Those experiences inspired my interest in helping others move better, recover more effectively, and build healthy habits that support long-term well-being. At StretchLab, I love helping clients understand the value of stretching and how it can improve mobility, enhance performance, and support a better quality of life. My goal is to create a positive experience where every client feels supported in reaching their personal wellness goals. Outside of work, I enjoy strength training, taking Pilates classes, hiking, and spending quality time with friends and family. I'm excited to help clients feel their best through movement and recovery while making a meaningful impact on their everyday lives.

Hi, I'm Jef Bennett, and I'm excited to be part of the StretchLab team! I've been involved in sports and fitness for most of my life and have spent more than 15 years helping people improve their strength, movement, and overall quality of life. My background includes powerlifting, strongman, and kettlebell training, but over the years my passion has shifted toward helping people move better, not just lift more. That passion led me to become a Specialist in Exercise Therapy and a Corrective Exercise Specialist. I believe that improving mobility, flexibility, and stability is the foundation for reducing pain, preventing injury, enhancing performance, and staying active for years to come. Whether your goal is to move more comfortably, recover from an injury, improve your athletic performance, or simply feel better in your everyday life, I'm committed to meeting you where you are and helping you reach your goals. My focus has always been on facilitating connection and awareness for people with their bodies and to explore movement in a more mindful and intentional way. My approach to my work and life is centered around meeting people where they are while helping them move and feel better. I am a certified Alexander Technique teacher, which focuses on body awareness, easeful and expansive movement, and identifying fluid posture that allows people to move with greater ease and poise. I am a Level II Usui Reiki practitioner, which opens a somatic experience of the mind, body, and spirit. While living in New York City, I worked extensively as a theater director and performer, which heavily influenced my approach to my private practice in what I call Mindful Movement. Becoming a certified StretchLab Flexologist has allowed me to bring my experience and knowledge into one-on-one stretching and help people improve how they move and feel. My life and work mantra is, “Always Arriving, Never Arrived.”
