I have been involved in the Health & Fitness industry for over a decade. After graduating from the American Academy of Personal Training in 2012, I began my profession as a Certified Personal Trainer at a few local gyms in the Providence area. I helped others to reach their goals, such as weight loss, muscle gain, and improving athletic performance. After completing an internship at “The Genius of Flexibility” in Boston, MA, I found my niche and passion in the area of assisted stretching. I continued my education in this modality by completing all levels of training in The Ki-Hara Method. I have melded all these experiences together in hopes of helping members at StretchLab to move and feel better. Outside of the studio, I coach and enjoy playing soccer. My other favorite activities can be found outdoors from walking my black lab, Maggie, to snowboarding and kayaking.

I have always helped people experience wellness and relaxation through movement of the body. My background is in personal training and group fitness. I have taught all formats of fitness including gentle yoga. My path took a turn when I helped my mother through her illness. Eventually saying goodbye to her. This catapulted my focus on everything health and wellness. I started studying mind & body fitness and began seeing the importance of prevention. I became very proactive with my own fitness and inner wellbeing. Movement, meditation and breath work have been the most powerful healing tools for me and now I want to serve people in the same way I have been helped. I have realized that “If you don’t have freedom in your body you don’t have freedom in your life: freedom of time, abundance, deep personal connections and purpose.” So, let’s get moving. Let’s stretch!

My journey with stretching and flexibility came at an early age in a gymnastics gym. I grew up in the gym and it is where I truly found my passion for movement and healing through movement. Now I coach gymnastics and help others find their joy for stretching. I currently hold my Associate degree in Exercise Science and am continuing on to earn my Bachelors of Exercise Science. From there, I plan on pursuing my goal of a doctorate of physical therapy. When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, surfing, and trying out new restaurants and cafes! StretchLab gives me the opportunity to help people achieve their goals and share my love for movement.

      Ryane
      Flexologist
Hi! I’m Ryane. My desire to create change in the world through physical and mental wellness was inspired by the many rigorous hours I spent training as a dancer since age two. Dance gave me the opportunity from a young age to see the benefits and importance of physical movement, as well as the positive effects it had on my mental and emotional health. I received my Bachelors in Dance at Dean College with a minor in Psychology. I pursued performing in Los Angeles/NYC/Boston, and took on the role of teaching/managing at various dance academy’s in Boston where I quickly developed a love for teaching. This led me towards the fitness industry and discovering my true purpose: to create change and awareness through teaching others the ability to master their mind, body, and soul. My professional training/education includes dance cardio, group fitness, and yoga. I have taught for 305 fitness, Orangetheory, and currently run group fitness classes through my own brand “SHIFT”. The ultimate catalyst in remaining persistent with my mission has been my sobriety and the recovery of a knee replacement I had in 2021. I am beyond grateful to be in a place today where taking care of my mind and body is “non-negotiable”, and to teach others how this lifestyle can improve their health and quality of life.

Hello! My name is Katie Clifford. I grew up near Portland, Oregon. In my early years, I played Volleyball, Basketball, and track and field. At 19 years old, I joined the United States Coast Guard and got stationed in the California Bay Area, conducting law enforcement and search and rescue missions. One of my responsibilities was running the physical fitness test for my crew members. Multiple members came to me asking for guidance to get them in shape to pass these tests. Helping these members reach their health and fitness goals led to my true passion for the fitness world. I knew that after I separated from the service, I would go straight into the fitness industry. I am a fitness coach at a functional training studio. I am certified in personal training, nutrition, and yoga instructor, and currently going to school for sports and health sciences. Stretching is such a key component of your health and fitness goals and a way to relax the body and mind. I am excited to meet new clients and assist them in their quest for greater flexibility, mobility, and overall wellness.

My personal love for health and fitness inspired me to become NASM certified in both personal training and nutrition. Starting in 2015, I became a personal trainer. Training allowed me to change many lives by helping people reach their goals, and I quickly realized that a career in health and wellness is what I was meant to do. Nutrition and exercise have always been at the top of everyone's health and wellness choices, and I'm ready to show others how flexibility, stretching, and mobility are just as important to helping people live a longer, healthier, more enjoyable life.
