Having committed to a consistent, holistic yoga practice for 5 years, Melissa became a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) in August 2020! Mirroring her own journey, Melissa is called to guide and empower others to heal physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually through intentional, mindful and gentle stretch/movement; attending to the whole Self. Melissa loves being active and connecting with nature; camping (in a tent under the stars), yoga outdoors, sunrises/sunsets, moon gazing, being near/on the water (lake, bay, river, ocean), hiking, standup paddle boarding, fishing, beach, mountains, and adventuring! In the spirit of balance, Melissa can also be found snuggling up on the couch with a cozy blanket, thought-provoking book, and cup of warm tea or milk to soothe, relax, and restore. Stretch Lab offers the space to work with, connect, and support individuals on their journeys to movement, wellness, and healing, build relationships and partnerships with fellow staff and clients, and learn and grow from each other’s unique stories. The studio and its offering adds to the holistic vision of wellness, fitness, and quality of life.
