Scottie Stampone is a passionate movement artist with a background of classical and contemporary dance. He especially loves to choreograph, which for him is a cathartic and necessary creative hobby for survival, but also an opportunity to tell stories that challenge norms, evoke curiosity or raise consciousness by inspiring and encouraging free thought and self expression. After attending the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU from 2009-2013 and majoring in contemporary dance and choreography, Scott moved back to PA and began yoga teacher training while also giving his back time to heal from traumatic musculoskeletal injury. He is certified in Ashtanga-based Vinyasa Yoga and has been practicing and teaching for 6 years, incorporating music, dancing, and improvisation into his classes. It's Scottie's goal to empower the awesomely diverse and sincere members at StretchLab Collegeville, and he is excited to help bodies achieve more balance, ease, and vitality, and gain back the freedom to dance, move, experience and celebrate life to the fullest.
