Maya
Flexologist
Hello! I’m Maya Vega, and I’m thrilled to be part of the StretchLab San Marcos team as I pursue my passion for enhancing health and wellness. Currently, I’m working toward my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a focus on movement science at California State University San Marcos, with plans to further my education by earning a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. My long-term goal is to bring my skills as a Physical Therapist to an international setting, providing health and wellness services to people around the world. To complement my academic journey, I am also working on obtaining certifications from NASM as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and a Certified Nutrition Coach (CNC). This additional training broadens my understanding of strength, mobility, and nutrition—three key pillars that I believe are essential for improving quality of life and longevity. Outside of my studies and work at StretchLab, I enjoy playing the piano, skating, MMA training, going to the gym, and spending time at the beach. My diverse interests, coupled with my deep commitment to health and wellness, give me a well-rounded perspective that I bring to each client I work with. I’m passionate about helping others achieve their personal best, and I look forward to meeting you and guiding you on your wellness journey. Whether you’re focusing on mobility, strength, or overall health, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Feel free to ask for me, Maya, during your next visit to StretchLab San Marcos, and let’s begin working together toward your wellness goals.
