I played sports all throughout grade school and recently graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. I am also Certified Personal Trainer from NASM and currently working as a Personal Trainer at a gym. I am also pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy program for the Fall 2023 semester. I love to work out and be active as much as possible. I spend most of my free time lifting at the gym, playing golf and basketball with friends, and going to the beach. I am passionate about learning more everyday about the human body and how to care/coach people to take care of their physical and mental health. What I love about StretchLab is that I can truly make a great difference in someone’s life and how they experience physical activity. I believe our bodies are designed to move so working at StretchLab gives me the opportunity to help others be active and move pain/stress free! It is extremely rewarding to see everyone’s progress in flexibility and ultimately living a happier life because of stretching.

I began my journey in the health and wellness field in 2013 with athletic training, and that is what inspired me to dig deeper into the field. In 2019 I received my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition Science with an emphasis in physical therapy. I Have worked in outpatient physical therapy clinics with a wide demographic of patients coming in with different needs. I am a strong believer in the importance of the mind and body connection, and how feeling well physically really influences people to feel better mentally. Being able to be a part of individuals’ healing journey and regain their freedom of movement is what has motivated me to pursue a Doctor of Physical Therapy program. When I am not working with patients or clients, I love going on nature walks with my dog, chasing sunsets, and enjoying the beach. StretchLab is such a special place for me because we really are a big family. My teammates are so supportive and I love that we all share a passion for helping others and having an incredible drive to see each and every one of our clients improve their mobility and surpass their goals.

I attended my first yoga class at 15 because of back problems, unaware of the incredible journey the practice would lead me to. My teaching career began over 18 years ago. I have always had a passion and knowledge for movement, but discovered how to move more mindfully and live more consciously through yoga. Dedication to my practice has led me toward excellent health, strength and peace. Teaching in all different aspects of mind and body connection has contributed to my creative style and desire to provide tools to help teach the body and mind to work as one. Teaching brings me the most joy because it encourages people to live with stability, mobility and happiness. Outside of the studio, I enjoy hiking, spending time in nature, walking my dog at the beach, taking pictures, spending time with my family, practicing flow and and restorative yoga and dancing in the rain. Working at StretchLab has given me the tools to create movement in the body and connect awareness to the importance of of how flexibility can help to have a healthy body and enjoy the simplicities of daily life.

I fell in love with fitness about 2 years ago when I started lifting weights. I decided to start a women’s weightlifting club at my school because I realized that so many women feel uncomfortable or nervous about getting into the gym. I wanted to help people become more comfortable with their bodies and help them fall in love with fitness like I did! Our vision was to build each other up in wellness and work out because we want to, not because we feel like we have to. I still coach Westmont Women’s Weightlifting three nights a week. I am also a NASM certified personal trainer. I enjoy lifting, going to the beach, reading, and spending time with friends! I love the friendly and welcoming atmosphere and I love getting to work one on one with people to really get to the bottom of what’s bothering them. It’s super rewarding to establish good relationships and meet goals with clients. I also love that assisted stretching is such a unique part of the fitness industry that you really can’t get anywhere else.
