      Jared was a student-athlete at Dakota Wesleyan University where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Sports, Exercise, and Wellness while playing soccer for the University. Jared chose his major due to injuries he had to overcome, during his soccer career. Jared rehabbed and recovered from ACL reconstruction on both knees. During his second rehab, he learned the importance of stretching and all the benefits that come from it. StretchLab has given Jared the opportunity to share the benefits of stretch with the community of Albuquerque.

      Hello my name is Betty Trujillo-Gruet and I am a New Mexican. I grew up in Santa Fe. As a licensed massage therapist, I have been practicing since 2003. My position as a Flexologist here at Stretch Lab is a natural extension for my work. I have always been an athlete and enjoy attending live sport events. I run, bike and I love all dogs!

      Steph joins StretchLab as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with several years of history in both one one one and group training. She is a former NPC figure competitor with plans to return to the stage in 2022. Steph has a BA in Healthcare Administration, having spent multiple years working in sports medicine and intensifying her passion for achieving and sustaining a healthy, active, and productive life. Steph is excited for the opportunity to incorporate stretch as a model of physical and functional lifestyle enhancement.

      Angelica has 20 years of practicing Yoga and Ayurveda. She has taught classes across the states since 2011 and continues today. She also worked as the lead therapist in an Ayurvedic Clinic practicing classical Indian medicine. At StretchLab, working in assisted stretch presents another way to access well being. It’s Angelica’s goal to provide each client with opportunities to improve and enjoy their physical capacities. Stretching is a straightforward way toward that enjoyment.

      Felicia joins the StretchLab team with a decade of experience working in the medical field, an Anusara yoga teaching certification, and she is currently finishing up a yoga therapy/herbalism certification. She teaches a few weekly yoga classes here in Albuquerque. “I believe that movement is a deeply unique and personal journey for everyone. No two bodies are exactly alike so we shouldn’t treat them as such. I like to empower clients and students to become comfortable exploring their bodies capabilities and to deepen their relationship to movement and breath in a holistic, creative, healthy, and safe way.” Felicia is currently the Lead Flexologist at StretchLab Winrock. Felicia conducts and creates educational seminars to make sure our team stays current and to ensure our guests are getting a stellar stretch every time. Felicia's intention as a Flexologist is to assist clients in decreasing pain, increasing mobility, and to teach them small habits they can use in their daily lives to move in a more natural, intuitive way.

      Claudia Sun is a yoga instructor in her hometown of Albuquerque, NM at Mi Vida Yoga. She also teaches crochet and knitting for UNM Continuing Education. After receiving her engineering degree from UNM she worked in medical simulation for many years. After leaving engineering, Claudia received her hot yoga certification as well as her certification in Snowboarding and Adaptive Snowboarding and began pursuing her snow sports career for several years in northern NM and Colorado. She recently certified in Alpine Skiing. Claudia loves to bring her yoga training to help her clients at StretchLab to find body awareness and to help them learn to use their breath as a tool to release tension.

      Allister comes to StretchLab with a BS in Exercise Science from the University of New Mexico- Albuquerque, and more than seven year's experience as a martial arts instructor in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. In addition to a BS, Allister continues to pursue various certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in order to enhance his understanding of health and wellness at large. What started Allister's academic journey was an obsession with exercising, but now simply improving the quality of life of his clients has become the primary goal of his career.
