      Lead Flexologist
      Kristo is a multidisciplinary mobility trainer and our Lead Flexologist. His knowledge of kinesiology, physiology, and anatomy is grounded in his previous career as a Dancer, and expanded upon through his mobility focused personal training and personal experience in a variety of sports. Dance has brought Kristo all over the world and the country, during this time he both performed and taught at a high caliber. After achieving his goal to dance in a Broadway tour, he found a new path in education. The catalyst of which was his brother needing to lose 100lbs to join the Air Force. After helping his brother with this goal, he became impassioned by helping and supporting people by cultivating the longevity in their lives, which he believes rooted in maximizing one’s mobility. He has since returned to school for Biology with the intention of becoming a Physical Therapist for Performing Artists.

      Michaela is a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Dance Performance and Choreography. She also studied dance science and kinesiology at Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance in London. Michaela has always had a passion for health and wellness which includes movement of the body and stretching! She has trained at intensives throughout the country for dance including Emerge125 in New York and Gus Giordano Dance in Chicago. Michaela is excited to bring her knowledge of kinesiology, dance, and stretching techniques to Stretchlab!

      Maureen is a NY licensed Massage Therapist and graduated from the Swedish Institute College of Health and Science (NYC). She is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. In addition to being a Flexologist, she is certified in a number of fitness and bodywork techniques including: Flexibility Technician (Maximum Performance International), Pilates (Power Pilates), Holistic Health Coach (Institute of Integrative Nutrition), and Reiki. Maureen has had an active lifestyle since her childhood, and works out five days per week. She particularly enjoys Tennis, Swimming, and attending any professional sports game. Maureen is very compassionate and believes that we are all unique in mind, body, and spirit and brings that belief to every stretch session.

      Patrice has a BS in Applied Studies from Cal State Dominguez Hills. He ran a few marathons with a PR of 2:53:00. He has been practicing massage therapy and personal training focusing on functional training for the past 15 years.

      Caroline Alter is a recent graduate from Point Park University where she obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance and minor in education summa cum laude in the honors program. Caroline has always had a passion for somatic practices and loves being able to use her knowledge to help others feel good in their bodies!

      Omar holds a dual degrees in Exercise Physiology and Kinesiology with a Minor in Biology from SUNY Brockport. He is incredibly skilled as a personal trainer with multiple continued education certifications including: Animal Flow, Kettlebell Athletics, and Myofascial Trigger Point Techniques. He practices what he preaches at StretchLab as he has done various forms of Martial Arts for 10 years. In his spare time he likes to create and edit videos as well as watch anime.

      Dylan Contreras (he/ they) is a Brooklyn-based dancer, Fitness instructor, and interdisciplinary creator. Dylan augmented his dance training by studying ballet at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, Massachusetts. He continued his training at The Boston Conservatory where he received a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance. During those years, he became an instructor at 305 Fitness as well as studied Alexander Technique, which ignited his path into advocating health and wellness through movement. Dylan premiered his film My Baby Chest Hairs, after receiving an artistic grant from 305 Fitness. He is currently a dancer for Hivewild, and a dramaturg / collaborator with Haus of Pvmt. I dance for every little Black boy who longs to see someone, who looks like them,doing the thing they love most in the world.

      John is a NSCA Certified Personal Trainer, a licensed massage therapist and an US Army Veteran. Since getting into the fitness industry in 2016 as a way to take control of his health, he has continued to build upon his craft with certifications in Kettlebell Concepts, In-home fitness, functional movement, and animal/primal flow. He has always been focused on mobility as well as human movement and is finishing up a kinesiology degree from Lehman College.

      Mohammed is a recent graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelors in Biology and a concentration in Physiology & Anatomy. He is currently studying for the MCAT with the goal of specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In addition to working at StretchLab, he also works at Spear Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist Aide. During his undergraduate studies he worked as a First-Aid/AED/CPR trained student athletic service assistant at Cornell Fitness Center. He also has a background in biological research, he worked as a research assistant at the McLean lab at Texas State University as well as a medical assistant and volunteer at NYU Lutheran Hospital. Outside of work, he continues to develop his mind and body at the gym while also playing recreational/pick up basketball.

      Angel comes to eagerly stretch you all from the awesome borough of Brooklyn NY, and it is her pleasure to help you achieve your multitude of health goals both on and off my bench! She has been in this wonderful world of fitness since college in Exercise Science where began her journey in the fields of Personal Training, Group Fitness, Dance Fitness, and noooow as a Flexologist! It is an honor to serve you!

      Olivia is a recent graduate from Slippery Rock University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography, and a BA in Psychology. In addition to dance, she has experience in somatic practice, pilates and yoga. She cares deeply about helping others and is excited to combine her passion for health, wellness and healing as a Flexologist!

      Kari graduated from Slippery Rock University and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with a concentration in performance and choreography. Since graduating in 2021 she has delved deeper into her passion for somatic practices and bodywork. She is an avid practitioner and facilitator of Contact Improvisation, a partner dance form based on the physical principles of touch, momentum, and shared weight. Kari has worked through several injuries over the course of her dance career and is excited to continue learning and sharing her expertise to help others!

      Kevin is a NSCA certified Strength and Conditioning coach. He is currently pursuing his Masters degree at TC, Columbia University studying Motor Learning & Control. His research interests are in attentional focus and plans to conduct his thesis with Powerlifers. He is a member of the Columbia Barbell club and enjoys weight lifting during his free time. FUN FACT: He spent over 7 years in Australia and learnt English there!

      Cameron graduated from King's College with a degree in Exercise Science. Post-college he has worked in a variety of health and fitness branches from personal training, fascial stretch therapy, and multiple wellness facilities. His interests in health and fitness started well before college; he played sports all his life such as football, lacrosse, and rugby. Cam finds it very important to prioritize your mind and body in order to live a long healthy life. His intention is to continue spreading my knowledge skill and passion to all communities.

      Emily is a recent graduate from University of Massachusetts Lowell with a bachelors in Exercise Science. In addition to her bachelors, she also has her personal training certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. During her undergraduate studies she worked as an intern at Power Source training center, a strength and conditioning facility for youth in Leominster Ma. She also has a background in corrective exercise, having previously worked at a chiropractors office as a corrective care specialist. Outside of work, she enjoys learning new hobbies, spending time at the gym, or cooking up something new in the kitchen.

      StretchLab is revolutionizing one-on-one assisted stretching and flexibility training classes. In your 25 or 50 minute one-on-one session, you will work with one of our trained flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches custom designed for your specific needs. In our innovative group sessions – no matter what your range of motion or fitness level is, we have a solution for you. Our group stretches are Flexologist led and will help to increase your flexibility and improve your range of motion.
