    Estella began her fitness journey as a competitive American Style Ballroom Dancer. Her passion for dance led her to gain an interest and love for fitness. Estella pursued a career in this industry and became a ACE Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist. Additionally, she also studied Pre and Post Natal Fitness and earned her certification with the recognized Pre and Post Natal coach Annette Lang. Estella is also a Bikini Body Builder and Coach. Estella has a university degree in Theater/Music/Liberal Arts and Psychology. Her passion is to help others look and feel their best. She believes that health is the best wealth, and that flexibility is key to having a balanced body. Fun Fact: Estella is an actress, singer, competitive Ballroom Salsa Dancer and her favorite sport is Beach Volleyball.

    Senior Flexologist

    Lena earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney Australia. While at UNSW Lena’s clinical rotations included cardiac rehab, inpatient and outpatient mental health and outpatient orthopaedic rehab. She has also attended special courses on exercise prescription for the prevention of falls (Otago Exercise Programme), Managing Diabetes and Exercise, and Fascia and Foam Rolling. Since graduating in Australia, Lena has clinical experience in exercise prescription for personal injury rehabilitation. She also spent 3 years living in Ireland working as an on-ward Physiotherapy Assistant within the Bon Secours Private Hospital, as well as performing exercise classes for the aging population. Lena feels strongly about developing individualized stretching plans to help clients of all ages get more out of their life. Lena moved to Manhattan in 2022 and in her free time enjoys exploring NYC, attending live music, swimming, walking her dog in the beautiful parks of New York and of course - stretching!

    Laione Perkins (LP) is a Senior Flexologist at StretchLab Upper East Side with over a decade of experience in the fitness industry. With a background in personal training, they specialize in strength training for prenatal clients, youth, and athletes. Their expertise has been shaped by internships at 1PP and LIU Brooklyn, as well as Doula training with the Northern Manhattan Perinatal Partnership, enhancing their understanding of prenatal and postpartum wellness. Passionate about movement and recovery, Laione believes fitness is a key to overall well-being. Outside the studio, they enjoy arts and crafts and unwinding with video games.

    Samantha

    Senior Flexologist

    Originally from Houston, Texas and raised in Springfield, Missouri, Samantha brings a lifelong love of movement and performance to StretchLab. She earned her BFA in Dance with a minor in Business Management from Marymount Manhattan College and recently completed her first season as a Radio City Rockette, including appearances in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Samantha has also performed in industry showcases, mainstage productions, and the Arts for Autism Benefit at the New Amsterdam Theatre. With a strong background in dance and movement, Samantha has a deep understanding of body mechanics, flexibility, and injury prevention. She enjoys working with a wide range of clients and is passionate about creating supportive, customized stretch sessions that help clients move more freely, prevent injury, and feel their best. When she’s not dancing or stretching, Samantha loves trying new restaurants and dessert spots around NYC and is always excited to get recommendations for new places to try!

    Sophie is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and dancer originally from Northern New Hampshire. She has been training in dance since the age of 3 and continued her professional training with the Steps on Broadway Professional Programs. She has always had a passion for health and wellness and has a deep appreciation for the importance of stretching and flexibility as part of a healthy lifestyle. She loves to share the knowledge that she has acquired through her dance studies, as well as through her experience as an NASM Certified Personal Trainer. A fun fact about Sophie is that she loves partaking in lots of outdoor activities that New Hampshire has to offer when she is able to visit home!

    Asher holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and is an ACSM-certified Exercise Physiologist, originally from Nashville, TN. His years of experience as a physical therapy aide allowed him to work with a diverse range of clients, from middle schoolers to Medicare patients. Before this he worked in the fitness industry with college athletes. As a dedicated athlete himself and lover of sports like soccer, pickleball, and Muay Thai, he brings a dynamic approach to fitness. Asher is thankful to have a job where he’s surrounded by his passions everyday and can allow others to move freely. “Above all else, I want to connect with others and I want to help people build sustainable, healthy habits that lead them to living a full life.” Asher will guide you to take the steps needed to accomplish your goals. He’s excited to share his knowledge and energy with you.

    David grew up in East Harlem, New York, and graduated from Cardinal Hayes High School, where he developed a passion for fitness and lacrosse. He further pursued his interest in exercise by earning a degree in Exercise Science from Mercy University. With 10 years of experience as a certified personal trainer, David is dedicated to helping clients realize their fitness potential through consistent action and determination. His coaching philosophy is centered around empowering individuals to achieve their goals and build sustainable habits. A fun fact about David: he can hang upside down for more than one minute!

    Coach M is a New York City native and NASM-certified personal trainer with over 10 years of experience helping clients move, train, and recover with purpose. Specializing in personal training, mixed martial arts, yoga, and strength training, she focuses on teaching clients how to understand their bodies and the anatomy behind movement. Coach M integrates breathwork, stretching, and mobility techniques to improve flexibility, reduce tension, and build a stronger mind-body connection. Her holistic approach helps clients of all ages develop strength, balance, and long-term wellness.

    Mia was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and graduated from Quinnipiac University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a minor in Human Movement. She was a dedicated dancer for over 15 years and majored in dance through the Joffrey Ballet Academy program at FHHS. Her extensive dance background gave her an early appreciation for the importance of mobility, flexibility, and injury prevention. Throughout college, Mia worked as a physical therapy aide, where she assisted patients throughout their rehabilitation and gained valuable insight into the recovery process. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them achieve their individual fitness, movement, and wellness goals. Inspired by her experience with sports-related injuries and her desire to help others recover and perform at their best, she was eager to join the StretchLab team. Combining her backgrounds in dance and health sciences, Mia has a strong foundation in biomechanics, movement science, and human performance. She is committed to helping clients improve mobility, prevent injury, return to the activities they love, and enhance their overall performance.

In your 25 or 50 minute one-on-one session, you will work with one of our trained flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches custom designed for your specific needs. In our innovative group sessions – no matter what your range of motion or fitness level is, we have a solution for you. Our group stretches are Flexologist led and will help to increase your flexibility and improve your range of motion.
