Being blessed to compete in sports at the collegiate level, I am dedicated to bringing that knowledge and experience along with my background to deliver to clients a unique and beneficial stretch. My dedication to your body's change for the better is my ultimate goal.

      Jorge came to StretchLab Summit by way of the Dominican Republic where he had been practicing physical therapy for the last 6 years. When Jorge was little, one of his favorite uncles had a stroke; he watched his uncle undergo rehab and was amazed at how the phyiscal therapists provided healing to his uncle. That was when it became his dream career. Jorge came to the United States to expand his opportunities, his growth and learning while also making a difference in others' lives. His ultimate goal is to build a Sports PT practice. We are lucky that he has chosen StretchLab Summit as part of his growth. Jorge loves to train hard and is very passionate about baseball, a sport he played in the DR.

      I’m deeply passionate about health, wellness, and fitness, and I believe that learning is a lifelong journey. My personal transformation began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when I lost 104 pounds. That experience changed my life and sparked a desire to help others do the same. I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology and Associate’s in Psychology from Saint Peter’s University. I later completed a Master of Health Sciences with a focus in Healthcare Leadership Administration, and I’m currently pursuing a doctorate in Health Sciences, specializing in Health Professions Leadership. Along the way, I also earned a Master of Personal Training through the International Sports Sciences Association. My education and personal journey go hand in hand. I use what I’ve learned both academically and through experience to guide, inspire, and empower others. I’m passionate about leading by example, and I use social media to show people across the world that becoming the best version of yourself is absolutely achievable. Whether I’m contributing to healthcare leadership or helping someone through their first workout, I’m committed to making a lasting impact. For me, it’s not just about fitness—it’s about transformation, purpose, and the power of believing in yourself.

      I recently earned my B.S. in Exercise Science from Kean University, providing hands-on experience in personal training, group fitness, and wellness initiatives. I am certified in CPR, AED, personal training, and Yoga instruction. I completed an internship with the NYC Mayor's Office of Sports, Wellness, and Recreation, where I helped develop wellness programs and organized events. Throughout my life, I’ve been deeply passionate about wellness, recreation, and athletics. My experience as a varsity athlete and degree in exercise science has made my commitment to promoting health and fitness. I’ve channeled this passion into roles where I can make a positive impact on others' well-being.

      I recently graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. I’m passionate about health, wellness, and helping others improve their overall quality of life. During my three years as a student athletic trainer for the Rutgers Football team, I gained hands-on experience supporting athletes in their recovery and performance. Outside of StretchLab, I love cooking, traveling, and staying active. I’m excited to use my knowledge and bubbly personality to help you move and feel your best!

      I recently earned my B.S. in Exercise Science from Kean University and I’m currently finishing my master’s in the same program. I enjoy creating workouts for teams and working with athletes one-on-one, whether it’s on the field or in the gym. As an athlete myself, I know how important stretching and recovery are, and I’m excited to bring that passion to StretchLab. With my background, I’m confident I can help my clients reach their fitness goals. Outside of StretchLab, you’ll usually find me playing soccer, cooking and listening to classic rock

      My name is Joseph Shannon, I grew up in Edison New Jersey and attended Stockton University where I graduated with my bachelors degree in exercise science. I enjoy playing golf and riding my motorcycle, along with spending time with my friends and family. I am passionate about helping people and that is why I am excited to be working for Stretchlab as it gives me the opportunity to help people move and feel the best they can; ultimately allowing them to live their best life.

      Since I became a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer in 2014, I have empowered many people to improve their health and daily life by increasing their strength, losing fat, and developing life-long habits that fuel their livelihood. My coaching experience includes working with everyone from youth to older adults in their 80s. I also am certified as a Level 1 Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition where I help guide people in understanding how to apply the principles of good nutrition to their daily lives. Throughout my career, I have coached people individually as well as in small and large group fitness classes. I love seeing the transformations that occur in people when they work toward achieving their wellness goals. I am so excited to begin working as a Flexologist for StretchLab and know firsthand the power of recovery on boosting resilience, strength, and overall wellness for both the body and mind! I earned my Personal Fitness Trainer certification through W.I.T.S. (World Instructor Training Schools) and also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a Creative Writing concentration, from Montclair State University. In my spare time, I coach clients as a fitness trainer and enjoy strength training, running, hiking, walking, reading, writing, and cooking. I am looking forward to bringing my training experience to the clients of StretchLab to help them increase their freedom of movement and to feel better.

In your 25 or 50 minute one-on-one session, you will work with one of our trained flexologists who will guide you through a series of stretches custom designed for your specific needs. In our innovative group sessions – no matter what your range of motion or fitness level is, we have a solution for you. Our group stretches are Flexologist led and will help to increase your flexibility and improve your range of motion.
