  • Chelsey

    Chelsey

    Flexologist

Chelsey earned a degree in Exercise Science from Columbus State and has been practicing yoga for 16 years. In 2022, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and has been teaching ever since. Chelsey developed a love for movement and flexibility early in life, beginning gymnastics before she could even walk. After finishing her collegiate gymnastics and cheer career, she began to feel discomfort in her body, which led her to yoga. The practice revived her and she believes stretching is often overlooked and that everyone can benefit from it. Outside of StretchLab, Chelsey enjoys spending time with her husband Jeremy, their son Theo, and their two dogs, Kingsley and Kora!

Outside of learning about the human body and how to best help people, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, biking, pickleball, and baking!

  • Dorothy

    Dorothy

    Flexologist

Hello I’m Dorothy! My approach is built on a foundation of both deep clinical knowledge and significant personal experience. As a former MA/Nurse, Personal Trainer and current Spinning Instructor and Group Trainer, I possess a comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. This medical background allows me to view stretching not just as a fitness routine, but as a critical component of long-term physical health and recovery. My passion for stretching is deeply personal. I am a cancer survivor and have navigated the recoveries following knee and hip replacements, as well as a cervical spine fusion. These challenges have given me a unique perspective on the “physical aspects of growing older” and firsthand knowledge of how limited mobility can impact daily life. I am dedicated to helping you reclaim your freedom of movement. Whether you are recovering from surgery or simply want to feel better in your body, I look forward to working with you on the bench.
  • Makaila

    Makaila

    Flexologist

Makaila holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan, giving her a deep understanding of human anatomy and neural circuitry. Her passion for movement, rehab, and helping others operate at their absolute best led her straight to the StretchLab team. Before stepping onto our floor, Makaila spent significant time working hands-on as a Physical Therapy Technician. In the clinical space, she specialized in guiding patients through targeted exercise prescriptions and mastering customized movement progressions to restore body functionality and freedom. Makaila believes that intentional stretching is a vital tool for longevity, recovery, and overall wellness. She combines her sharp clinical eye with a supportive, client-centered approach to ensure everyone on her bench feels empowered and completely aligned with their personal goals. Committed to a lifelong career in patient care, Makaila will be heading off to physical therapy school in January 2027 to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
