I have a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, an Acupuncture Diplomate by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I have completed an Associate of Science degree in Kinesiology at Santa Monica College. Then, went on to further my passion for holistic wellness by obtaining my personal training certificate through NASM and completed 400 hours of yoga training in Ashtanga and Alignment Yoga in the U.S. and Israel. I’ve taught group fitness and alignment-based yoga, as well as pre and postnatal classes for 7 years. I completed an extensive internship at the UCSD outpatient clinics for both cancer and HIV/AIDS treating patients using acupuncture, cupping, massage, herbal therapy, nutritional guidance, and corrective exercises. I’ve been an avid surfer for many years and the ocean is my natural habitat. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my 1-year-old son, Kai. Early morning, while he’s still asleep, I train for an Olympic distance triathlon which has helped me regain my freedom and mind after a humbling postnatal experience. I am incredibly grateful to find and serve the clients at StretchLab using my knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and experience to provide the community with tools and awareness for the purpose of helping people reach their wellness goals to achieve their fullest human performance potential.
