(SafeSport Certified) Born in San Antonio, and raised in Mission, TX, Jackie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Athletic Medicine from The University of Texas at San Antonio in May of 2018. Since then she has geared her focus in the mental and physical wellness of many. She worked as a sensory motor coach at Brain Balance to address different sensory motor imbalances in children with special needs, aging from 4-18. She is also currently working as a physical therapy technician at a non-surgical center which has allowed her to work directly under skilled physical therapists and a physiatrist (physical medicine and rehabilitation physician) to gain an in-depth understanding of a non-surgical approach to rehabilitation. Along with this, shadowing a chiropractor who specializes in functional neurology allowed her to view rehabilitative therapy from different professions with the same ideal outcome. Being fit and health conscious allows her to practice what she preaches to promote healthy lifestyles to patients/ clients. Being personable, having patience, showing empathy, and compassion allows her to connect with people to reduce anxieties or stresses they may initially have. Through her involvements, she found gratification in building relationships with patients/ clients and is very excited to apply her knowledge at StretchLab.

It's been the pursuit of multiple tracks in life that have led me to the present: to work with others seeking to bring out the extraordinary in their lives. I began my professional career as a high school teacher and soccer coach. Over 20 years I've trained hundreds of people with wide-ranging goals: From the person with a back injury looking to reduce pain & build strength, to high school and college athletes looking to increase performance or win a scholarship. The common thread has been working together to make a path towards a better life. Along the way I've studied mindfulness meditation and yoga. I've intentionally engaged in a variety of opportunities to share and hone my coaching abilities. Through it all has been my love of learning, of knowing how things work, understanding and working with the intricacies of each individual’s needs and requirements towards improvement and, above all, connecting with and teaching others to empower themselves to reach their dreams and goals. Through the years I have done many certifications and clinics to improve my ability to serve people: NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, NASM Personal Trainer, Stick Mobility practitioner, FMS Functional Movement Screen specialist, as well Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach. How can I help you live your best life?

I was born and raised in the vibrant city of San Antonio, Texas. From a young age, I developed a deep passion for health and wellness, which was ignited by my love for playing soccer. It was during this time that I had the privilege of playing semi-professional soccer. Although my dreams of playing at the collegiate level and more were slightly deterred by an unfortunate injury, I used this setback as an opportunity for growth. The experience of being injured taught me the significance of rehabilitation and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It was through this process that my desire to help others unlock their own physical potential truly flourished. I understood firsthand how crucial it is to have guidance and support while striving towards our goals. After completing my education at Our Lady of the Lake University, where I earned a degree in kinesiology, I embarked on a remarkable journey to further explore my passions. I’ve worked in multiple physical therapy clinics, health shops, was a mentor and coach for young soccer players, and even had the opportunity to work with TMMTX in their prevention and rehab programs.

I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I graduated from Angelo State University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Health Science with a concentration in Physical Therapy & Allied Health. Then decided to continue my education and graduated with a Master’s in Athletic Training in 2023. I am a certified Athletic Trainer. I have experience in various environments within the field such as working with collegiate and high school athletes, family medicine, orthopedics, and sports medicine clinics. My goal is to continue in my field by helping others feel motivated and pushed to strive goals and build on their road to recovery. In the future I would like to become a successful Athletic Trainer and hopefully work for a D1 collegiate setting or a professional sports team.
