Elijah McKinnon
Flexologist
Hi, I’m Elijah! I was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and since 2021, I’ve been splitting my time between Austin and San Antonio. I’m a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and currently pursuing my B.S. in Kinesiology at UTSA.
My passion for fitness runs deep, but like many in this field, I’ve faced setbacks that reshaped how I see health. In 2023, while preparing for a bodybuilding competition, I re-separated my AC joint—an injury that triggered nearly a year of chronic pain. That experience challenged more than just my body; it affected my mindset, my relationships, and my motivation. I felt stuck and frustrated by something I couldn’t control.
Through that recovery journey, I learned an important lesson: strength alone isn’t enough. For years, I believed heavy lifting was the ultimate path to health. But my injury taught me that true wellness is about balance—what I call The Holy Trinity of Wellness: Strength, Flexibility, and Mobility.
Now, as a Flexologist at StretchLab, I help others discover what I learned the hard way: that long-term health isn’t just about building muscle, it’s about preserving how we move, feel, and function every day. I’m here to help you care for your body in a way that supports your goals—whether that’s preventing injury, improving performance, or simply living pain-free.
Taking care of your body today is the investment that fuels your quality of life tomorrow—and I’m honored to be part of that journey with you.
