  • Maggie

    Maggie

    Flexologist

Maggie has been dancing ever since she could walk. She learned to communicate through movement early on when she still had a sever stutter. Since then, Maggie has danced competitively, pre-professionally at Draper, and professionally with NYSB and RCB. The relationship between ballet and stretching is very intimate, and Maggie knows how important the role of flexibility is for the body’s overall well-being. Since 2018, Maggie has shared the years of knowledge and experience she’s gained with the next generation of dancers in the Rochester area. In 2020, Maggie completed NASM’s personal training course to provide both herself, and her students, proper training techniques to prevent injuries, build strength, and improve coordination. Maggie believes that flexibility is a key factor in strengthening the mind/body connection. At StretchLab, she hopes to help each unique client live their lives fully, without aches and pains to hold them back. When Maggie is not stretching or teaching, she is in school pursuing an Associate’s degree in applied business sciences or playing with her high energy rescue pup, Dash!
  • Elise

    Elise

    Flexologist

Elise earned her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry and spent the next several years searching for the right career fit. It wasn't until rekindling her passion for movement that she found the right path by venturing in a new direction, fitness and health. Preventative health and living pain free, both physically and mentally, is what drives her forward and led her to becoming a 200-hr certified yoga instructor in 2020. From there, she went on to earn her group fitness instructor certification and coaching behavior certification through ACE and is always looking forward to expanding her knowledge of movement and mental health. When not in the studio, she is trying to do everything she can, from teaching vinyasa, working on her art business, playing video games or experimenting in the kitchen, walking in nature, or discovering music just to name a few of her hobbies.
