I am a NASM- PT certified personal trainer with additional certifications in areas such as AFAA- Group Fitness and Facial Release Techniques. I have been working in the health and fitness industry for the past eight years and am absolutely obsessed! Both as an athlete and coach- I have competed in both CrossFit and Olympic Lifting, so I understand first hand the need my clients have to keep moving! Even through the daily aches and pains that accompany most forms of fitness, being able to support clients through assisted stretching has been a game changer! Being a stay at home Mom of 4 for 16 years found me looking for more personal growth. I decided it was time to re-enter the workforce and help others with my passion for biomechanics, sports performance and rehab. I am constantly learning and looking for ways to grow in my education around the biomechanics of the body. StretchLab allows me the opportunity to help members of our community feel less pain, have the freedom to be active, become more body aware, and believe in their potential.

I’m currently in training to become a board-certified Health and Wellness Coach. I’m an active person and enjoy weightlifting, yoga, barre, hiking and cooking.

I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco and am pursuing a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies to specialize in orthopedics. Growing up as a high-level athlete I have always had a fascination for learning about body mechanics, injury prevention, and pain management techniques, especially after I went through knee surgery at a young age. I understand the journey your body and mind have to endure to help keep yourself healthy long-term. This growing passion has given me five years of experience working in both sports medicine and rehabilitation settings. I am very thankful to have worked with such a wide range of body types and ages so early on in my career and to be continuing my practice at StretchLab to help members achieve the movement in their bodies that they deserve. StretchLab allows me to not only help members reach their movement goals and increase their body awareness but also, to learn and grow from everyone around me in the studio.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO. I played football at the Division II level. The position I played was defensive tackle. I got a back injury my senior year that I now consider a blessing. The injury allowed me to humble myself and pay more attention to my body and focus on health. I am wanting to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree because I understand how troubling injuries can be. If I can help someone feel better than they did moments before, it makes me happy. That is why at StretchLab I am glad to have the opportunity to be able to help the people who come in feel welcomed and build an environment of health and wellness so they can leave better than they came in. I like to workout, snowboard, hike, and eat! I believe in spreading joy and positivity and that anyone I meet can be positively affected from our interaction!

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Physiology and a certificate in Public Health from the University of Colorado Boulder. I have had the opportunity to work both in a physical therapy clinic and with the CU Football team as a Sports Medicine Intern. My journey to StretchLab and a career in exercise science started with me being in and out of physical therapy throughout high school due to many injuries from being a competitive soccer player. The experiences I had with the therapists really jump started my love for the health and exercise world. I love the concept of stretching and helping others become more mobile in their lives and am excited to see where this journey takes me!

I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Aurora. I grew up playing baseball as a catcher for Cherry Creek High School and then at Augustana College in Rock Island Illinois. There I graduated with a kinesiology degree in the spring of 2022. I took courses in biomechanics, exercise physiology, and orthopedic evaluation and rehabilitation. It was through school and baseball that I learned the importance of stretching to improve mobility, athletic performance and to reduce the risk of injury. I was led to StretchLab by my passion for the human body and education. StretchLab has given me the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in an interpersonal setting to improve the lives of people from all backgrounds. I will be using my experience here to prepare me for a future in physical therapy. In my free time I enjoy being active: playing golf, hiking, and skiing. When I am not outside, I am perusing my passion for music by playing the guitar, piano, and writing songs. I am excited to have the opportunity to meet new people and to improve their quality of life through stretching.

I am 24 years old & was born and raised in Southern Texas. I just moved to Denver one month ago and absolutely LOVE it so far! I love hiking, finding local breweries & coffee shops, and also do a little photography! I grew up loving sports as a kid & was grateful enough to play collegiate baseball. I have a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a Masters degree in Exercise & Sports Science. I was just accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Regis University and will begin my schooling there this fall. I believe that I can be a strong asset to the StretchLab team as I am confident in my knowledge and experience in human anatomy/physiology, as well as the biomechanics & recovery process of the human body. I absolutely admire the complexity of the human body and believe we should treat the body as a whole.
