I am very excited to join the Stretch Lab team at Lake Oswego! My passion for fitness and movement began when I started dancing at the age of 4 and continued while I trained and danced competitively for 12yrs. I continued my education at Loyola Marymount University where I was a double major in Dance and Natural Science with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy. While pursuing my professional dance career in Los Angeles I became a NASM certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist and found new ways to help others achieve their fitness and wellness goals as well as found my passion for teaching young competitive dancers. Outside of being a Flexologist and teaching I like to spend my days outdoors, hiking, going to the mountains or beaches, baking treats, and enjoying a good cup of coffee! I am excited to continue learning and sharing with the Stretchlab family!

Being in the health and fitness world for ten years, I'm always expanding my knowledge on how to train clients. From TRX instructor, one-on-one training, group fitness coach, spin instructor to yoga teacher and now a Flexologist at StretchLab. I became an AFAA Group Instructor and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in Portland then acquired by 200 RYT a few years after. WIth the background that I have, I've been able to help with a wide variety of clients that I've had over the years. I hope to not only expand my knowledge with StretchLab but also educate, motivate and inspire those with whom I cross paths.

While my start in fitness came at 18 as a way to pay for college, my development and skillset as a personal trainer began with my mentorship at Equinox in Pasadena, CA. I was blessed with two amazing mentors: a national MMA champion from Poland and a strength and conditioning coach from San Diego. I obtained 12 different certifications over a one-year span, with the most beneficial being a course on the mechanics of myofascial tissue, and another on the study of trigger point therapy for recovery and pain management. Through these courses and mentorships I grew my reputation as the mobility and squat expert where I spearheaded the development of group stretch clinics to supplement our personal training programs. When I first heard about StretchLab and their mobility first approach towards fitness, their messages of freedom from restriction and community building resonated with my own ideology and I knew I wanted to a part of this emphasis on flexibility training. I am excited to meet you wherever you are at, and together we can figure out a game plan on the stretch table for your journey to healthier movement.

I have been in the health, fitness, and wellness industry for nearly a decade. Growing up active and joining the Boy Scouts, the importance of health and fitness was apparent. Being able to play sports, and go out outdoor adventures shaped my perspective on being able to move. This passion and interest in the human body guided me to earn my Personal Training Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine, as well as a Bachelor's in Exercise and Sport Science from Concordia Portland. My goal has been to pair rehabilitation with performance; from training children, collegiate athletes, all the way to geriatrics, I have gathered experience and insight into different modalities and training philosophies. My time spent as a jiu jitsu practitioner and coach further cemented my viewpoints on understanding the body, maintaining, and improving physical freedom. The adventure ends when your physical freedom does. By educating myself and others, I am able to expand the capacity for well-being, and extend the joys of life.
