      Emma
      Flexologist
Hi, I am Emma and was born and raised in Petoskey MI where I grew up enjoying the outdoors. I love to sail and swim during the summer, and I worked many years as a ski instructor in the winters. I was a passionate athlete in high school, and that guided me through my educational journey at Grand Valley State University where I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Exercise Science. Throughout my years at GVSU I was able to combine my appreciation for exercise, with knowledge that would allow me to help others. I have worked in various physical therapy clinics, and my favorite part has been watching patients leave with less pain than they came in with. I am excited to be part of the amazing team of Flexologists, who are working to decrease pain and restriction in the joints and muscles of our clients. I want to shine a light on the importance of flexibility and stretching in contribution to overall health and wellness. I have learned so much regarding the benefits of a routine stretching program and increased flexibility, and I cannot wait to bring those benefits to the members at StretchLab!

Hi, my name is Abigail! I graduated from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science, and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Exercise Physiology. My passion for the human body and helping others began after going through three ACL reconstructions. These injuries happened from my love for volleyball, basketball, and softball. During my rehab, I discovered how impactful health and wellness can be, and it inspired me to help others through their own injuries and challenges. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family, and friends. I also love being outdoors, weightlifting, baking, and singing. I’m excited to support you on your journey and help you move, feel, and live better. I look forward to meeting you soon!

      Nelly
      Nelly
      Flexologist
I’m Nelly, and I recently relocated from StretchLab in Dallas, Texas. During my time there, I supported a diverse range of clients, including professional athletes, rehabilitation patients, and individuals managing chronic pain and mobility limitations. My background includes over eight years of experience in fitness and wellness management, three years of hands-on bodywork, and an ISSA CPT certification. I also served as an Advanced PTL in the U.S. Air Force. Following my military service, my own journey navigating chronic pain led me to discover the transformative power of assisted stretching. This experience sparked my passion for helping others find relief through mobility-based recovery and intentional movement. To further my understanding of holistic healing, I spent a year in Thailand, where I became certified in Thai massage and deepened my knowledge of the mind-body connection and mobility-focused bodywork. As a Flexologist, I am dedicated to helping people move freely, feel stronger, and reduce pain through consistent mobility work. I look forward to applying my experience and education to support our members in feeling their best—one stretch at a time.

I am a 500hr Trauma-Informed Registered Yoga Teacher and currently pursuing my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Michigan University. For all of my life, movement has been a major component of my mental and physical wellbeing. If you are looking for pain relief, mental relaxation, increased performance, overall balance and wellbeing, or all of the above, I am the perfect fit for your experience at StretchLab! As I guide you though focused PNF-style stretches, we will also emphasize awareness and control of the breath and take time to notice shifts in sensation or energy in the body, strengthening the mind-body connection. In addition to practicing yoga and meditation, I also enjoy trail running, knitting, and exploring all the coffee shops around Grand Rapids. I hope to see you on the bench soon!
