Hi, I'm Matt! Athletics and movement have been a large part of my life since childhood; I played multiple sports, including varsity lacrosse, which deeply inspired my passion for fitness and functional training. As a NASM-certified personal trainer with over 3 years of experience, I've worked closely with clients both one-on-one and in group fitness settings, specializing in corrective exercise and functional movement. I aim to help people understand the "why" behind every stretch and exercise, empowering them to move better and live pain-free. When I'm not at StretchLab, you'll likely find me outdoors: hiking, camping, or exploring new trails to stay balanced and inspired.

Originally from Central New Jersey, I’ve spent over 20 years immersed in the world of dance, instructing and performing nationally and internationally. I was a closing cast member of Sleep No More in NYC, where I held a long-term residency exploring immersive, physically demanding performance. Alongside my dance career, I’ve developed a strong passion for fitness, body maintenance, and injury prevention. I’m passionate about sharing practical knowledge that helps people care for their bodies, move more freely, and build longevity in all forms of movement in daily life.

As a Flexologist with a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy, I integrate breath and mind-body connection with stretching at Stretch Lab in Greenwich to create a holistic experience for both your body and mind. I have 10 years of experience as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist working in yoga studios, CrossFit gyms, martial arts schools, community centers, and VA hospitals; teaching people to stretch, breathe, and meditate to complement and enhance their active lifestyles. I have provided one-on-one and group yoga therapy sessions for the VA, serving veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), fibromyalgia, and chronic headaches; in addition to wellness and prenatal services. My clinical training includes working with patients/clients to assess physical health and develop goals with associated treatment plans, to include extending or building on existing treatment plans in collaboration with their health care providers. Originally from Queens, New York, I am an Air Force veteran who has lived overseas and in many states, but am happy to call Connecticut my home now. I am excited to work with the StretchLab professionals and support our amazing clients in their wellness journeys.
