For 10 years I was a librarian while studying psychology, until one day I picked up a book on fitness and was hooked. I loved the idea of being able to take care of my body while helping others in the process. This led me to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer with an emphasis in post rehabilitation and corrective exercise. I am also a certified Pilates and Barre Instructor and at some point would love to utilize my background to combine counseling with fitness to help kids find a good balance at a young age. I have been backpacking with my family since I was a teenager so needless to say I love to go hiking every chance I get, and I'm always looking for new trails. I also enjoy surfing, reading and music (especially international artists). At StretchLab I enjoy collaborating with my clients to create a session that brings them closer to their flexibility, mobility and relaxation goals. I love being able to combine mental and physical health to bring my clients closer to total wellness.

I started doing Yoga to help me sleep and feel better in my body and it made such an impact on my life I decided to get certified so I can help other people. I have been a Yoga Instructor for 4 years now in addition to wrestling and competing in Jiu Jitsu for 8 years. I like that at StretchLab I can utilize my background to help improve the members quality of life. I love when I finish a Stretch and my clients feel better than when they walked in. I love to surf whenever I have the chance and travel to Mexico every opportunity I get. I also like to read and plan to read 10 books this year. Nature is my happy place; I enjoy camping, traveling around California and going to the beach. I’m a total foodie and I like to cook, but usually go out to eat. Pizza and Sushi are my favorites. I love working at StretchLab because I love interacting with the clients and boosting them toward their wellness goals. I love learning and there’s a great group of people around me to learn from. I’m always picking up new things from my team-mates and applying it to give the clients a better experience.

I have been dancing since I was in 1st grade and I enjoyed it so much I pursued it in college and as a career. Dancing has taken me around the country and I’ve had performance opportunities like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. In my dance training I have also developed a passion for Yoga and Pilates which lead to my Pilates Certification and teaching. I work with people who are athletic as well as people going through rehabilitation. I realized I like being able to help people feel better in their bodies and that’s what lead me to StretchLab. Part of the reason I love being in California is because I like being outdoors; I love hiking, going to the beach and gardening in my off time and I love Stretching!. For me dancing, stretching and pilates all go hand in hand. I also enjoy cooking and baking as well as traveling whenever I get the opportunity. I like being in a work environment with other people that are also passionate about physical well-being. I really appreciate when a client comes in and shares their struggles with me and I love seeing the results and improvement after their stretch. I also love building connections with my clients and seeing their progress over time. It makes me feel good to see each of them reach their goals. I also feel like I learn a lot from each of my clients, every stretch is a new learning experience.

I started playing soccer when I was 6 and played for about 10 years until I transitioned into American Football at 15. I stopped playing at the age of 21 as a collegiate player due to a spine injury, which resulted in me having reconstructive spinal surgery. I spent the better part of 2 years in therapy and rehabilitation which inspired me to get into Kinesiology so I could help other people. I obtained my BS in Kinesiology and my NASM CPT. I have been a Certified Personal Trainer for 2 years now and I love being able to use my education and injury experience to help people move better. For fun I love Mountain Biking and Weight Lifting. One thing most people don’t know about me is that I love to sing; I love to do covers of Childish Gambino, Hozier and Sam smith. What I love about StretchLab is meeting new people and seeing them progress in their mobility. I personally get a lot of satisfaction in seeing people become more mobile.
