For 10 years I was a librarian while studying psychology, until one day I picked up a book on fitness and was hooked. I loved the idea of being able to take care of my body while helping others in the process. This led me to becoming a Certified Personal Trainer with an emphasis in post rehabilitation and corrective exercise. I am also a certified Pilates and Barre Instructor and at some point would love to utilize my background to combine counseling with fitness to help kids find a good balance at a young age. I have been backpacking with my family since I was a teenager so needless to say I love to go hiking every chance I get, and I'm always looking for new trails. I also enjoy surfing, reading and music (especially international artists). At StretchLab I enjoy collaborating with my clients to create a session that brings them closer to their flexibility, mobility and relaxation goals. I love being able to combine mental and physical health to bring my clients closer to total wellness.

I started doing Yoga to help me sleep and feel better in my body and it made such an impact on my life I decided to get certified so I can help other people. I have been a Yoga Instructor for 4 years now in addition to wrestling and competing in Jiu Jitsu for 8 years. I like that at StretchLab I can utilize my background to help improve the members quality of life. I love when I finish a Stretch and my clients feel better than when they walked in. I love to surf whenever I have the chance and travel to Mexico every opportunity I get. I also like to read and plan to read 10 books this year. Nature is my happy place; I enjoy camping, traveling around California and going to the beach. I’m a total foodie and I like to cook, but usually go out to eat. Pizza and Sushi are my favorites. I love working at StretchLab because I love interacting with the clients and boosting them toward their wellness goals. I love learning and there’s a great group of people around me to learn from. I’m always picking up new things from my team-mates and applying it to give the clients a better experience.

I have been dancing since I was in 1st grade and I enjoyed it so much I pursued it in college and as a career. Dancing has taken me around the country and I’ve had performance opportunities like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York. In my dance training I have also developed a passion for Yoga and Pilates which lead to my Pilates Certification and teaching. I work with people who are athletic as well as people going through rehabilitation. I realized I like being able to help people feel better in their bodies and that’s what lead me to StretchLab. Part of the reason I love being in California is because I like being outdoors; I love hiking, going to the beach and gardening in my off time and I love Stretching!. For me dancing, stretching and pilates all go hand in hand. I also enjoy cooking and baking as well as traveling whenever I get the opportunity. I like being in a work environment with other people that are also passionate about physical well-being. I really appreciate when a client comes in and shares their struggles with me and I love seeing the results and improvement after their stretch. I also love building connections with my clients and seeing their progress over time. It makes me feel good to see each of them reach their goals. I also feel like I learn a lot from each of my clients, every stretch is a new learning experience.

I entered the Marine Corps not knowing much about the body. But early in my career, I found that yoga helped to open my body, relieve injuries, and helped control my breathing. From then I began exploring more and more elements of fitness. On my exit, I obtained my personal training certificate and completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course. Now, after completing my music degree, I have dedicated my time to helping others in their journey to live strong, mobile, mindful lives. From indoor rowing and cycling to yoga and stretching, and everything in-between. I have found that the more I give, the more I enjoy this life of fitness. I enjoy Aerial circus training (trapeze, fabric, straps, etc.) and performing/practicing my music instruments & partner acrobatics. I also like drinking coffee with a mind-opening book in-hand.

I was 17 when Martial Arts came back into my life. I developed a true appreciation for it and believe that it helped shape who I am today. I have a black belt in Arjukenpo and Doce Pares Eskrima, and taught Karate and Muay Thai to kids for 6 years. I’ve been competing since 2018 and won multiple 1st place championships in Karate Forms; I love the adrenaline of competing and how it showcases my hard work and my love for the art. I started weight lifting to recover from an injury; that’s when I realized I had a passion for Health and Fitness. I’m certified in Massage Therapy & Physical Therapy Aid and furthering my education in Kinesiology. I like to approach any type of recovery session from an athletic standpoint, understanding that recovery and training go hand in hand. I love helping people while being able to see the results. Making people feel better is the ultimate goal. In my off time I love to go to Disneyland every chance I get. I also enjoy hiking and I collect movies; I'm a huge Star Wars, Marvel and Harry Potter fan. When I’m home you will find me spending time with my cats. Since working at StretchLab I’ve learned the importance of stretching as a form of recovery. I believe it’s important to practice what you preach so this has also taught me to incorporate more stretching into my own life. It’s very rewarding to help somebody improve their quality of life and find relief from their pain.

I was always an athlete. I ran track and played high school and collegiate football so naturally I segued into a life of body work. In college I was inspired by my strength coach to delve into Kinesiology because I was fascinated with the process of helping someone improve their body. I was intrigued by all aspects of fitness, not just performance but also rehabilitation. I did my internship at a Physical Therapy practice where I learned more about how the body itself is supposed to functionally work and how to build a good foundation for a quality of life. I decided to work at StretchLab because I thought it was a great way to further expand my knowledge on how to help people improve their lives. In my personal life I enjoy playing video games and spending time with friends and family. I also like to spend my time at amusement parks or watching movies (my favorite is Guardians of the Galaxy)

I started my journey as a journalism major until I was faced with my fathers illness and eventual passing. Unfortunately it was due to wrongful treatment and this experience led me to explore alternative medicine. I fell in love with acupuncture and eastern medicine philosophies. I loved the idea that illnesses could be cured without medicine and surgery, and that there was a more natural approach to treatment options.I obtained my Masters degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and eventually opened up my own clinic. I specialized in pain management and saw better results with patients where we were incorporating stretching into their treatment. I was drawn to StretchLab because I saw it as an opportunity to enhance my knowledge and provide better care for my patients. I love to sing and write music and currently sing in my church choir. In my off-time I enjoy my sleep and love to get Stretched and Massaged every chance I get. What I love about working at StretchLab is seeing instant results. People walk-in in pain and walk out feeling less stressed and less tense. This is extremely gratifying… I love helping people!
