Luigi
Flexologist
Luigi was born in the Pampanga province of the Philippines, but moved here to San Francisco when he was six years old. It’s been home ever since. At the age of 17, he joined the Marine Corps, eventually deploying to Japan, where he worked side by side with the Japanese Defense Force. After having finished his deployment, he wanted to explore a new sport, eventually finding his love for boxing. He is currently a boxer fighting out of B Street Boxing, and a boxing coach for Rock Steady Boxing Peninsula, working specifically with individuals who have Parkinson’s disease. Additionally, Luigi has worked with the veteran population as a physical therapy volunteer at the SF VA Medical Center, and has just finished a volunteering rotation at UCSF Medical Center (Parnassus) working specifically in the ICU as part of the Rehab Team. Having recently obtained his B.S. in Kinesiology at San Francisco State University, his next steps are pursuing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Outside of the studio, Luigi is a gigantic foodie who loves to explore new food spots for his curious taste buds, spend time with his loved ones, and binge different anime, mangas/manhuas/manhwas. He’s definitely looking forward to meeting you!
