      Mara is a 2021 graduate from SUNY Cortland with a BS in Exercise Science. Her interest in fitness started on the swim team and she continues to be an Open Water Certified Lifeguard. She’s using her degree to discover and assist clients in the different parts of the fitness universe and recently completed an internship with Victory Sports Performance in strength and conditioning training and has trained and coached clients in several other Long Island north shore gyms. She joined StretchLab as stretching is a very important factor for holistically staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

      David holds a BS in Nutrition & Exercise Science and is a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). His fitness career began in 2009 where he worked as a personal trainer for corporate gyms. He then ventured off into in-home personal training and sports performance working with a diverse clientele that included kids/teens, adults, athletes, elderly and special populations. His approach to fitness emphasized age-appropriate exercise prescription with a specific focus in cardiovascular endurance and strength training in combination with balance, stability and flexibility training. David believes mobility and flexibility are two important components of fitness, he’s excited to help clients at Stretchlab improve in those specific areas to improve their overall health and well-being.

      Coach Rivera began coaching/training in 2005 leading player development for the Briarliffe College Seahawks. His teams reached regional titles every year and made numerous college World Series appearances. Coach Rivera then founded The Cage of Bayshore, a baseball/softball training center, where he also ran strength and conditioning programs. Dave has worked with some of the top strength coaches on Long Island as well as with numerous sprinters aiding in top speed development and performance. Dave has certifications including NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Speed and Agility Specialist, Functional Movement Screening (FMS), Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST), and life and performance coach. In 2018, Dave founded ASAP Inner Strength, LLC in Farmingdale, NY, centered around stretch therapy, corrective exercise, and post-rehab. There he's served athletes of all ages, the general population, and those cleared post-rehab in restoring movement patterns, gaining range of motion, and relieving pain and discomfort. Dave plans to bring his knowledge and expertise to StretchLab East Northport to serve those on Long Island's north shore as a Flexologist.

      Jaime has been in the fitness world for the past 7 years as a boxing instructor teaching privates and group fitness classes as a certified group fitness instructor. One of her clients competed in his first Long Island Fight For Charity boxing event at the age of 50. She trains her clients for a variety of reasons including training for Spartan Races and loves to compete in them herself. She understands the extreme importance of stretching, specifically PNF stretching, and how it affects your workout and recovery. Jaime continues to play sports/work out regularly and is excited to help other people reach their personal fitness goals while ensuring they won’t get injuries along the way!

      Suzanne holds a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Sports Nutrition from Queens College. She is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine as well as a Registered Dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She spent years working in traditional healthcare and realized the importance of maintaining physical fitness at all stages of life. As a private personal trainer and nutritionist, she has specialized in helping people define their ideal fitness level and building healthy habits around their lifestyle. Whether through diet, exercise, or a combination of both, helping people to achieve health and wellbeing is her passion. She is excited to help people focus on improving their flexibility and mobility to achieve greater and more sustainable results.

      Jonathon has been a personal trainer for 5 years as well as an athlete his whole life playing football and rugby and running track. He has been the head football coach and an assistant track coach where he helped lead his district to a division championship. He is also an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. A big focus on everything he did was making sure his stability and mobility was always good to help perform at his highest level! Stretching is one of the key factors to that and is why he enjoys being a Flexologist so much!

      Rori has always been passionate about fitness, but when she lost her job due to the COVID pandemic and then shortly after became diagnosed with Breast Cancer, it really allowed her to fulfill her dream of working full-time in the fitness industry. During her treatment for Breast cancer, she went back to school to become a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and then furthered that education with the Cancer Exercise Training Institute to become a Cancer Exercise Specialist with an emphasis on Breast Cancer Recovery. Combining that training, she founded Foobs and Fitness to help others in their fight against cancer. Joining StretchLab to help people regain their mobility back really compliments her desire to help people "Live Long".

      Jacquelyn is a lifelong health, fitness and outdoor enthusiast with a background in dance (Russian-trained in the Vaganova technique of ballet and Martha Graham modern dance). She is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), NASM/AFAA Group Fitness Instructor (GFI), and NASM Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS). She enjoys designing personalized fitness programs to develop stability and strength and has trained clients in local gyms and fitness facilities for over 12 years. She considers PNF stretching an essential modality and is eager to utilize this technique to promote greater flexibility and increased range of motion with clients seeking relief from movement restrictions. She is currently pursuing a GFS (Golf Fitness Specialist) certification.
