Flexologist
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Delaware and my Master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where my research focused on functional fatigue and how it impacts body mechanics and injury risk. When I was working clinically as an athletic trainer, I’ve had the opportunity to work with top-tier Division I athletic programs at UNC-Chapel Hill, including baseball and field hockey. After graduate school, I continued my career at Raleigh Orthopedic’s Athletic Performance Center, working with both professional and youth athletes—including those affiliated with the Carolina Hurricanes NHL team.
Before joining StretchLab, I also spent time as a high school biology and earth and environmental science teacher. Through my teaching certification at North Carolina State University, I developed a deep understanding of how people learn and apply new concepts—something I use every day to help my clients better understand their bodies and make lasting progress.
Outside of the studio, I’m passionate about movement in my own life as well. I’ve been riding horses since childhood and currently have a quarter horse named Luna. I’m also an ultramarathon runner, having completed multiple 50K and 50-mile races, with goals of tackling 100K and 100-mile distances in the future. I am currently certified as a NASM personal trainer, performance and corrective exercise specialist, as well as holding movement and mobility certifications through The Ready State. I have also recently become certified as an ultramarathon running coach through UESCA.
If you’re looking to move better, feel better, and work with someone who truly understands the demands you place on your body, I’d love to work with you—book a session with me and let’s get started.
