I have a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I am a bodybuilder and powerlifter, and I have been in the fitness industry for the past 10 years. In high school I discovered weight training and developed my passion for powerlifting. I am constantly looking for new techniques to further my weightlifting skills and challenge myself. If I'm not in the gym you'll probably find me relaxing at home with a good book, or binge watching a new tv series. I love working in such a welcoming and caring environment at StretchLab. My goal is always to help people in whatever way I can, and StretchLab gives me the platform to do that.

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Health Science concentrating in Exercise Science and am currently enrolled in graduate school, pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I have experience working in physical therapy outpatient clinics as well as volunteering in different health and fitness communities including an afterschool club designed to prevent and treat pediatric obesity and comorbid conditions. Growing up, my hobbies included gymnastics, cheerleading, and track, so these sports will always hold a place in my heart. When I’m not at work or school, I am either at the gym, hanging out by the pool with my two shih tzu puppies or trying new local hikes! I have a combined passion for health, fitness, and helping others improve their quality of life which is why I am so thankful to have found StretchLab - a place that implements it all.

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and I am currently studying for my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology. I also have 4 years of Sports Medicine experience through the Tahquitz Sports Medicine Program. Through this program I truly found my passion for helping and educating others on the importance of mobility training and preventive care. Being a youth athlete myself, playing softball and basketball, this helped me recognize the importance of flexibility and mobility training, not only to live an active lifestyle, but for a healthy long lasting life in general. In my free time, I spend most of my days weight training and powerlifting. My hobbies include taking hikes with my dogs, spending time at the beach surfing and swimming, and practicing yoga. I love StretchLab because it has given me an opportunity to practice what I love and help others along the way. It allows me to connect with people on a deeper level and help give them clarity on why they are feeling they way they do.

I am a National Association of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist. I have worked in the fitness industry on both the corporate and Trainer side for 7 years. I love impacting people’s lives by getting to know them on a deeper level and hearing all about their life stories. I believe this is an essential part of my drive to help people, recover faster, relieve pain, and overall enhance life so that their stories can keep being written! Outside of StretchLab, you’ll find me on the mats at a jujitsu gym, drinking coffee, playing music way too loud, or working on a sketch that’s probably driving me nuts. Let’s look forward to feeling better and helping YOU live long!

I have been a volleyball coach for 10 years. Coaching is the main reason I decided to pursue a career in health and fitness, specifically, physical therapy. After seeing many of my athletes sustain injuries and most only receive prescription medication to mask symptoms, I knew there had to be a better solution. So, 3 years into an undergraduate degree as a computer engineer, I switched to Kinesiology to learn more about the human body and how I can provide a permanent solution for various health conditions. I received my bachelors degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University, where I also volunteered in working with patients with disabilities as well as spinal cord injury patients. Currently, I am attending the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences where I am in my second year for my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Outside of work and school, you can catch me working out or playing/coaching volleyball! I love staying active on my days off because a body in motion, stays in motion! Aside from all the amazing people I get to interact with, I love working at StretchLab because it allows me to further my education in recovery and prevention. Every body and everybody is different and it allows me to not only learn about the physical ailments of those that I work with to provide true solutions, but also the personal lives of those that I am impacting.

I graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with a Kinesiology degree with an emphasis in Exercise Science. I also played D2 Lacrosse for 3 years at Norte Dame de Namur University. Following my graduation from college, I went on to work as an aide at an outpatient Physical Therapy center in Saratoga and I truly loved my time helping the patients move better, and recover. Outside of working out and lacrosse, I have gotten back into other sports I love…playing basketball and skating! After moving down to San Diego this year, I really look forward to picking up surfing as well! While I am resting and recovering, I like playing video games, reading, and hanging out with friends. I love StretchLab because it allows me to continue my passion for getting others back to what they love. I have a passion for sharing my knowledge about the body with others and allowing them to continue living the lives they want to live. Furthermore, Stretchlab is also giving me the platform to continue my own education and work towards my ultimate goal of pursuing a career in physical therapy.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from California State University of Monterey Bay. I have worked with a variety of patients, including some with Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease, and have also worked as a physical therapy aide. I am currently attending the University of St Augustine for Health Sciences to obtain my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Growing up I played all kinds of sports and was a cheerleader for 8 years. My dad had a golf club in my hands since I was about 3 years old, so I love going to the golfing range and have a passion for helping others improve their golf skills through better mobility. Outside of work and school, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, hiking, Pilates/Lagree, and binge-watching TV shows. I love that StretchLab creates such a positive environment for individuals to grow and achieve their wellness goals. It makes me happy to be able to connect with others and help them on their health and wellness journey. I appreciate that StretchLab allows me to treat each and every person as a whole and more than the sum of their parts so I can make an impact on their life and help them cherish and take care of their body.

Hi, I’m Angela! With over 10 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and leader in Health & Wellness, I have evolved into the fitness professional I am today. I began as a NASM certified private trainer and certified Pilates mat instructor, specializing in performance and aesthetics. Several years ago, I immersed myself in the more holistic side of wellness with a 500 hour Yoga Teacher through the internationally recognized Yoga Alliance and received meditation teacher training from a direct student of the founder of Transcendental Meditation (TM). I feel a calling to share the movement methodology with all the years of studying anatomy, physiology, breath work, & exercise patterns to help others understand what is possible! I want to empower clients to know they can wake up every morning feeling inspired, energized, strong, joyful, & connected. I love living in sunny San Diego and exploring our beautiful city! You can find me at the beach, museums, coffee shops, yoga & pilates studios. I love StretchLab because it is such a positive and vibrant space for healing and learning!
