I have a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer. I am a bodybuilder and powerlifter, and I have been in the fitness industry for the past 10 years. In high school I discovered weight training and developed my passion for powerlifting. I am constantly looking for new techniques to further my weightlifting skills and challenge myself. If I'm not in the gym you'll probably find me relaxing at home with a good book, or binge watching a new tv series. I love working in such a welcoming and caring environment at StretchLab. My goal is always to help people in whatever way I can, and StretchLab gives me the platform to do that.

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Health Science concentrating in Exercise Science and am currently enrolled in graduate school, pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I am an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. I have experience working in physical therapy outpatient clinics as well as volunteering in different health and fitness communities including an afterschool club designed to prevent and treat pediatric obesity and comorbid conditions. Growing up, my hobbies included gymnastics, cheerleading, and track, so these sports will always hold a place in my heart. When I’m not at work or school, I am either at the gym, hanging out by the pool with my two shih tzu puppies or trying new local hikes! I have a combined passion for health, fitness, and helping others improve their quality of life which is why I am so thankful to have found StretchLab - a place that implements it all.

I have been a volleyball coach for 10 years. Coaching is the main reason I decided to pursue a career in health and fitness, specifically, physical therapy. After seeing many of the athletes sustain injuries, I knew there had to be a better solution. I received my bachelors degree in Kinesiology at San Diego State University, where I also volunteered in working with patients with disabilities as well as spinal cord injury patients. Currently, I am attending the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences where I am in my second year for my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Outside of work and school, you can catch me working out or playing/coaching volleyball! I love staying active on my days off because a body in motion, stays in motion! Aside from all the amazing people I get to interact with, I love working at StretchLab because it allows me to further my education in recovery and prevention. Every body and everybody is different and it allows me to not only learn about the physical ailments of those that I work with to provide true solutions, but also the personal lives of those that I am impacting.

With over 10 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and leader in Health & Wellness, I have evolved into the fitness professional I am today. I began as a NASM certified private trainer and certified Pilates mat instructor, specializing in performance and aesthetics. Several years ago, I immersed myself in the more holistic side of wellness with a 500 hour Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. I feel a calling to share the movement methodology with all the years of studying anatomy, physiology, breath work, & exercise patterns to help others understand what is possible! I want to empower clients to know they can wake up every morning feeling inspired, energized, strong, joyful, & connected. I love living in sunny San Diego and exploring our beautiful city! You can find me at the beach, museums, coffee shops, yoga & pilates studios. I love StretchLab because it is such a positive and vibrant space for healing and learning! We are all super passionate about what we do, because we witness the benefits in our clients. I love working with like-minded individuals and knowing we’re making a positive impact.

I am a US Navy Veteran with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology, and I am a certified personal trainer. I enlisted in the United States Navy in 2015. Seeing how the military can take a toll on individuals both mentally and physically, I was inspired to pursue a career in exercise science. After my honorable discharge from the military in 2019, I graduated from San Diego State University with honors. From my experience working at the Adaptative Fitness Clinic at SDSU and at the Egoscue Method, I was able to formulate exercise programs for adaptive clients and find postural deviations for each individual that could then be implemented into their corrective exercise program. Outside of work you can find me weight-training, hiking, throwing a football, or playing some recreational basketball. I love Stretchlab because it allows me to better myself as a professional in the wellness field while also improving myself as a person. Stretchlab gave me an opportunity to fulfill what I wish to do most; help individuals live their lives to the fullest extent!

I have a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy from San Diego State University. I have worked with a wide variety of physical therapy patients in the in and out-patient setting as a rehabilitation aide for 2 years. I also volunteered at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in the acute physical therapy department, mainly with stroke and orthopedic patients. I have recently obtained a NASM personal training certification and was a strength and conditioning coach intern with high school athletes. Currently, I am volunteering with a pediatric physical therapy facility, interacting with kids who have down syndrome, autism, and other genetic disorders. I am hoping to pursue a doctorate of physical therapy in the near future. Outside of work you can find me in the gym weight training or out on the water paddle boarding! I love cooking, trying the new cookies at Crumbl, and watching some baseball games at Petco park! I love StretchLab because it allows me to continue my education on injury prevention and recovery with a holistic perspective. At the same time, I am able to build relationships with my clients to keep them staying active and giving them the freedom of movement they deserve.

Working as a personal trainer for 4 years helped me to realize that my passion in life is to help people improve their health and wellness. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Excelsior College, I volunteered with the Peace Corps and spent several years in Guatemala working in their health sector. My time in Guatemala furthered my love for the health and wellness industry so when returned to the United States, I immediately started working as a physical therapy aide, and later started working at StretchLab. I am currently pursuing a license in massage therapy. I love learning about the body, how to help others recover from injuries, and how to improve and maintain mobility. In my free time, I love outdoor activities like going to the beach, hiking, and camping. I also love to play piano, cook, or go try new restaurants, play sports like football and basketball, and practice Muay Thai. Having worked as a physical therapy aide, I can fully appreciate how impactful stretching is on peoples’ health. Working at StretchLab has been fulfilling in that I get to help people feel better in their bodies and make a meaningful impact in their life. I also love having great interactions with our clients and meeting people from all walks of life.
