My passion for physical health stems from my love for movement. After dancing for many years, I pursued a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in dance from UCCS. In 2015 I became a certified yoga teacher and have loved sharing the benefits the practice. My background has not only inspired my love for the field of health and wellness, but has also helped me to deepen my understanding of biomechanics and stretching techniques. My goal is to continually increase client’s range of motion, improve posture, and reduce pain/ injuries. I look forward to helping you find your best self here at StretchLab!

Lisa is a certified yoga, meditation guide and practitioner with over 6 years of experience, and over a thousand hours of teaching and continuing education. She is also a certified Nutrition Therapy Master helping to create wellness through movement, meditation, and nutrition. Preferring to teach yoga that contains challenging or restorative poses over high intensity practices; she believes that when we begin to slow down and utilize yoga to create presence, it can not only stimulate the body, but soothe the mind, and soul. Becoming a certified Flexologist has created another avenue to tap into the intelligence of the body through assisted stretching. Yoga is an active way of not only stretching the body but building strength and balance. While working one on one with a stretching program is a passive, but interactive way to bring greater range of motion, increased body/mind awareness, and an overall sense of wellbeing. She believes that within the role of Flexologist, she has found even more opportunities to do what she loves, and help people move beyond their injuries and limitations to find more flexibility not only in the body, but in mind.

I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach in 2018 to support people in becoming the best versions of themselves. My area of expertise includes providing corrective form and technique in weight training with a strong emphasis on injury prevention and recovery specifically geared towards women. I joined StretchLab to grow and develop as a fitness professional within the industry and provide my knowledge of how the body works as a unit to make you feel your absolute best. When I’m not at StretchLab you can most likely find me weight lifting at the gym, walking my two pups, or enjoying alone time at a local coffee shop. My hope for when we work together is that I can help improve your flexibility, mobility, strength and overall minimize any problem areas so your body can function at its full potential with a pain free life.

I have always loved to move my body whether it's playing volleyball, running, hiking, or doing yoga. At the University of Wisconsin, I studied Zoology which allowed me to look at the body from an evolutionary perspective with an emphasis on neurobiology. I also have experience as a personal trainer and certified nursing assistant where I worked in a neuro-ICU as well as home health. Now, I am pursuing a career in physical therapy where I hope to explore the connections with my other passions for yoga and neurobiology. At StretchLab, I hope to help you connect with your body and learn how to be a more informed user. My practice as a flexologist is largely influenced by my yoga practice through which I have found greater resilience to the aches and pains we all experience in daily life. I look forward to meeting you on the bench and helping you realize what your body is capable of.

I graduated from CU Boulder in 2022 on the Pre-Physical Therapy track majoring in Integrative Physiology. I played competitive volleyball growing up and enjoy weight training and helping others start their fitness journey and grow their confidence. I love supporting and encouraging others to be the best version of themselves which is why I am so happy to be at StretchLab helping people recover, prevent injury, and improve their quality of movement in day to day life. The joy of seeing people progress is one of my favorite things. Outside of StretchLab I enjoy going to the gym, taking workout classes with my Grandma, hiking, drinking coffee, and working on my Pilates Teacher Training! I grew up in Japan and have been very fortunate to have been able to travel all over and experience a variety of cultures at a young age. I am so excited to meet everyone who walks through the doors of StretchLab and help you reach your fitness goals!

I have been personally and professionally involved in the fields of fitness and healthcare for nearly 45 years prior to joining Cherry Creek Stretch lab as a flexologist. Shortly after earning a BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Northland College in Ashland Wisconsin, I moved to Washington DC to pursue a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Maryland and worked as a Milieu Therapist for the National Children’s Hospital-Acute Psychiatric Inpatient center. I soon found that my path lied elsewhere in the Chiropractic profession and moved to California to enter Southern California University of Health Sciences where I completed my DC degree. Following several decades of practice, my family and I moved to Aurora where I decided to retire from practice and pursue my passion for fitness. Overtime, I became certified as a CSCS (Certified Sports and Conditioning Specialist)through the National Sports and Conditioning Association, a NASM CPT (certified personal trainer), PES ( Performance Enhancement Specialist), a CES (Corrective Exercise Specialist) and a certification as a Biomechanics Specialist with the National Exercise Strength and Exercise Association. In 2005, I established a personal training business called RAWTIME fitness, specializing in functional training and conditioning, which I continued to operate until 2018. Also during this time , I completed a certification in Functional Medicine with Functional Medicine University and in August of 2022, finished a certification as a Health and Wellness Coach with the Functional Medicine Academy of Health and Wellness, the subject of which has become my new interest and passion. Stretch lab has allowed me an opportunity to merge all of what I have learned and the experience I have gained into a means by which to help those seeking the incredible healing benefits of assisted stretching. I truly look forward to allowing me the opportunity to help you relieve the stress and tension so prevalent in our world.

I graduated from MSU Denver in 2023 with a degree in Athletic Training. While currently working as a certified athletic trainer, I believe that wellness, recovery, and flexibility are important for all people, not just athletes. I danced for a good part of my life and began teaching at my hometown studio for a couple years learning different ways to educate people how to move. I joined StretchLab to spread my love for movement to anyone that walks through the door. In my free time I enjoy trying to find my next favorite book or hiking with my dog.

Born and raised in South Florida, I made my way to Colorado in 2014 where I began my studies at the University of Colorado. My passion for fitness and wellness began with the birth of my son during the COVID pandemic in 2020- wanting to help myself and others pursue the healthiest version of themselves! Currently pursing a MS in Exercise Science and Kinesiology, with the hopes of being the future doctor of Physical Therapy! The satisfaction I get from supporting and encouraging others throughout their progress and ever changing goals is one of my favorite things about working in the wellness industry and I hope to continue to do so for many others. Outside of the StretchLab studio you’d find me exploring this wonderful state with my young son, training my body and reading lots of books! Can’t wait to see you on my bench to work toward your best self!

Helping people balance self-improvement with contentment in order to lead more aware and fulfilling lives is my “Why”. I have always had a passion for health and fitness and helping others. I was a Junior Olympics fencer, practiced Jeet Kune Do, and enjoyed yardwork and stonework growing up in the Hudson Valley region of NY. In the Navy I was “The Pushup King” and loved training other shipmates on the submarine in physical fitness. I also became skilled in boxing and muay thai during my 6 years of service. After an Honorable discharge I became a personal trainer, was a nuclear plant operator for 3 years, completed multiple exercise programs (my design and others), got into figure modeling, started my love of yoga, was introduced to acro, started racing (mostly obstacle course racing, ranging from 5k’s to 50k’s), and earned a degree in Exercise Science & Wellness. I then moved from NY to SC and completed my formal RYT-200 hour with Blue Turtle Yoga, continued teaching, earned a degree in Organizational Management, and deepened my acro practice. I am also a certified NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Spartan Group X Coach, Apex Fitness Professional, CPR/AED/First Aid certified, and TRX qualified with over 2 decades of training experience. I also aced a trimester of chiropractic college. I have been in CO since August 2018 and worked at a local moving company. I have taught and performed acro, put together and ran mobile ninja courses, lead Spartan workouts and obstacle specialist courses, and met the love of my life here! Hiking (small walks to 14er’s and everything in between), climbing, snowshoeing, swimming, tubing, playing dodgeball and volleyball, and visiting hot springs are additional activities I enjoy. My love and I also host a 13 week health and wellness program thru our business, Dragonfly Wellness.

I am originally from Georgia where I lived for sixteen years until I moved to North Carolina. I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a BS in Exercise Science and a MS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Exercise Physiology. I have previously worked in Cardiac and Cancer Rehab where I loved helping patients improve their quality of life through exercise. I then started working at StretchLab in Charlotte where I was able to continue to pursue my passion of helping others’ quality of life through movement. I have always loved being active and my favorite ways to do that are weight training and MMA. I enjoy being outside and am super excited to explore Colorado as a new resident! I am very happy to be a part of the StretchLab Cherry Creek team and look forward to helping people reach their goals!
