In 2010 I lost over one hundred pounds, which started my journey of helping others achieve their health and fitness goals. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2017. Since then, I have been working as a personal trainer at a private fitness studio. As a personal trainer, I found a passion for helping people alleviate chronic pain through stretching. When I am not working, you can find me listening to sci-fi and fantasy audiobooks, trying new food, lifting weights, rock climbing, or training for my next Tough Mudder race. What I love about StretchLab is making a goal like you would for working out and applying it to stretching. Whether that goal is to relieve chronic pain or to increase general flexibility, we can get there through the program we develop together. Stretching is not just something we do as a warm-up or cool-down but a way to increase quality of life.

I graduated college with a bachelor's degree majoring in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology. I have a background in athletics at the high school and college level and have spent a lot of my time learning about biomechanics and injury prevention. In my free time I like playing basketball, strength training and painting. I love StretchLab because it allows me to apply my education and background in a way that lets me help people. Teaching people the importance of mobility and biomechanics while also helping them learn how they can prevent and improve their ailments is extremely rewarding. I also get to meet a wide range of interesting and nice people.

I have coached rowing and fitness for my entire adult life. I rowed and coached at Cornell where I majored in human biology with a minor in exercise physiology. I have a masters in education and worked as an elementary and middle school teacher. I enjoy making fitness and flexibility fun and rewarding. At StretchLab I enjoy the 1 on 1 connection and problem solving to help everyone move better and enjoy what their bodies can do. It is a great team. The entire staff works together to develop programs for each client. My favorite thing to do when not at StretchLab is going for long walks in the woods with my fiance and 11 year old black lab mix Tux. I also enjoy road trips and have been to 48 states. Come in for a stretch and ask which two I have not made it to yet.

I’ve been around sports since I was little and started to indulge into the fitness world when I began high school. I love working with people and being able to help clients reach their goals and setting new ones to further progress and reach new heights that they never thought they could reach before. I did a 5 month internship at TD Athletes edge where I was able to learn so much about the strength and conditioning coaching aspect of the fitness world. I enjoy working out at the gym as much as a can and enjoy going for morning jogs when the weather warms up as well as playing soccer with friends. What I love about StretchLab is that it allows me to do what I love, and that is to help people feel better than when they first walked through the door. I’ve always wanted a job that doesn’t feel like a job and that is exactly what being a flexologist here at StretchLab has helped me accomplish. Nothing is more rewarding than being able to help clients feel better day in and day out.

I became a Licensed Massage Therapist in New Hampshire about a year ago. I love helping people achieve their goals whether it be pain relief, stress relief or to just to improve a clients quality of life. When I am not at StretchLab, I spend time walking trails and taking car rides with my dog Sam. I also like to work out, playing basketball, grappling and boxing. What I like about StretchLab is the ability to work with clients one-on-one but I also like the team camaraderie to help reach every client's goals. I have always had an interest in stretching; StretchLab has provided me with a program that has opened my eyes to proper technique.

I am currently in Physical Therapy school at Univ. of Mass Lowell. Throughout my life I have been surrounded by athletics and fitness, playing many sports such as: baseball, hockey, and volleyball. This led me to pursue a Bachelors Degree in exercise and health science and onto my current track. I love going to the gym, playing sports, and trying to be a better version of myself everyday. I play club volleyball at the Univ. of Mass Lowell, and 9man volleyball in the summers (which I highly recommend you checking out!). When I’m not being active, I am eating delicious food, or watching Boston sports teams. At StretchLab I am able to meet many people of different backgrounds. So, not only am I able to educate you the importance and benefits of stretching during your session, but I am able to hear your stories.

I have been around sports my entire life where it took me to Merrimack College to play Division 1 tennis for all 4 years. I studied Exercise science and enjoyed many classes like biomechanics and the anatomy courses. I have since continued my education at Northeastern University where I am pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy to continue to help people in any way possible. I have also interned at Athletic Evolution as a strength and conditioning coach over the summer of 2020 where I grew my knowledge. Since then I have been coaching people of all ages in the gym to help achieve their goals. When not at work, I love to workout and play various sports like Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, football, weightlifting, CrossFit and more. Whether it is about sports, TV, and my favorite topic FOOD, I enjoy many different things and am open to other things life can bring. StretchLab allow me to continue to grow my hands on practice for physical therapy while helping as many people as I can get more mobile and flexible. StretchLab allows me to expand my knowledge and experience in ways that my studies alone would not have helped me with.
