Current Movement & Why Stretching is Important to Dre: Currently, I work on my own body four times a week. Two times a week doing interval & circuit training. Two times per week running/hiking. A positive mindset along with a priority to personal growth are values held close. This begins with the discipline of taking care of our mind & body. My goal is to be an example for others in reaching their health & wellness goals, and help them exceed their expectations. Stretching & flexibility is important because it promotes blood flow, decreases the chance of injury, and improves overall quality of life by bringing awareness to our bodies & how to move most efficiently.

I am currently pursuing my bachelor's in kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton. I have always been interested in fitness and physical activity since I started working out as a freshman in high school. I have a NASM personal training certification. As I continue to learn more about kinesiology, I have realized the importance of stretching and have been incorporating it into my own routine. I have already seen it greatly improve my exercise regimen and am excited to share the benefits of stretching with my clients. Outside of fitness, I have a few hobbies that keep me busy. I love playing tennis and am always up for a good hike. You can usually find me gaming on my PC when I'm not being active. My goal is to ensure my clients understand how stretching is an essential component of any fitness routine and can greatly improve their overall physical health.

Qualifications: Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at California State University Fullerton, and 3 years of experience as a physical therapist aide. In the future, I plan on obtaining my doctorates in physical therapy as well as a certification in strength and conditioning. Movement History: I played all sports growing up, but mainly stuck with football and basketball. In high school, I gravitated more towards MMA and did that for 4 years. Current Movement: I love staying active and being outdoors, therefore I am always excited to find new hiking trails as well as plan adventures to different national parks. In order to continue to do the activities I love, I make sure to stretch which helps lower the chances of injuring myself during activity. Stretching also allows my body to move more freely with comfort during everyday life. It is a practice that’s helped improve the quality of my life and I always look forward to sharing it with other people.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Bioscience, and I am currently pursuing my BSN and RN license. My passion for helping others with injuries and promoting the idea that exercise can be enjoyable stemmed from my personal experience of tearing my ACL as a teenager. With two years of experience as an aide at a physical therapy clinic, and as a specialized personal trainer for clients with back, knee, and shoulder injuries, I understand the importance of building strong relationships and trust. I wholeheartedly understand that many individuals lead stressful lives, often neglecting their own well-being. Therefore, at StretchLab, I aspire to restore balance by providing exceptional care and guidance. My aim is to empower clients to prioritize self-care and recognize the vital importance of nurturing their bodies. Together, we can embark on a journey of enhanced well-being and overall wellness.
