With over 25 years of dedicated experience in the fitness and wellness industry, Kristen has been a transformative force in the lives of her clients since founding her personal training business in 1996. Her expertise spans corporate and private coaching, focusing on guiding clients toward sustainable health and longevity goals. Kristen holds various certifications, including Personal Training, Functional Movement, Nutrition, Health Care, Pilates, Biofield Therapy, and Stretch Therapy. She is also a skilled workshop facilitator, regularly leading women's health and fitness workshops to empower individuals with education, practical tools, and lasting motivation. As our Lead Flexologist, Kristen is passionate about preventive health and mobility training, imparting her wisdom, approach and experience to her team. Her approach emphasizes fostering a deeper mind-to-muscle connection, improving range of motion, and enhancing overall function. Kristen’s sessions are enriched by her expertise in using advanced recovery tools such as the massage gun, offering a unique edge in addressing muscle tension and improving flexibility. A former competitive bodybuilder with 13 competitions to her name, Kristen understands the discipline and adaptability required to maintain health and wellness through life's transitions. Now in her 50s, she advocates for embracing change and evolving one’s approach to fitness and movement. Her interest in exercise and athletics drives her passion for helping clients improve flexibility, ease tension, and boost overall performance through stretching. Outside the studio, Maddy likes to stay active, try new fitness trends, and share tips to help others live healthy, balanced lives. As a graduate of an art high school specializing in dance, she refined her craft in an environment that fostered creativity and discipline. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at York University, Madison is deeply committed to understanding the science of human movement and how it impacts overall health and performance. This academic path reflects her lifelong passion for the physical and creative arts. Outside of her studies, Madison is an animal lover, having pets like cats and frogs at home, as well as enjoying immersing herself in music and going to the gym.     Hassan is a dedicated Flexologist at StretchLab with a strong background in movement science. Hassan graduated with honours from York University’s Kinesiology program, earning a Bachelor of Science, and is currently a third-year chiropractic student at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Passionate about health and fitness, Hassan loves playing sports and staying active. He’s excited to apply his expertise to help clients improve mobility, flexibility, and overall well-being.

    Ainsley Whelpton is passionate about using her anatomy and holistic wellness knowledge to help others improve their mobility, feel better in their bodies, and enhance their longevity. Ainsley holds a Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University with a major in health toxicology. She is pursuing a four-year Master of Osteopathic Manual Science (MOMSc), where she is deepening her understanding of holistic health and the body’s natural ability to self-heal, emphasizing the importance of restoring balance through gentle, hands-on techniques.

With hands-on experience in physiotherapy clinics, cardiac rehabilitation and adaptive fitness programs, Diana has worked with a wide range of clients - from athletes recovering from injury to individuals with spinal cord injuries or mobility challenges. Her background in soccer and long-distance running sparked a lifelong love for movement, which continues to inspire her today. At StretchLab, Diana is excited to help clients unlock their body's potential and discover sustainable and motivating ways to move.

    Flexologist/Registered Kinesiologist

    Justin To, R. Kin. is an honours graduate of York University's Kinesiology program. He also co-owns his own personal training company, bringing extensive experience in physiology and biomechanics to every stretch at StretchLab. With experience in Muay Thai, badminton, rock climbing and basketball, Justin understands the unique mobility demands of both athletes and everyday movers. He tailors each session to help clients achieve their goals - whether it's improving flexibility, enhancing performance or simply moving more comfortable in daily life.

    Kierra has a strong foundation in movement and wellness.     Melissa Roth, PT, is a licensed & registered Ontario physiotherapist dedicated to helping clients restore movement, reduce pain, and return to their optimal level of function. With over 23 years of experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and injury prevention, Melissa takes a comprehensive, hands-on approach to care. She integrates evidence-based physiotherapy with assisted stretching techniques to help improve flexibility, enhance mobility, and accelerate recovery. Directing the Physio Stream for Assisted Stretching (which allows for assisted stretching to be covered by insurance benefits) at StretchLab Aurora Newmarket, Melissa emphasizes the powerful role of our services play in maintaining healthy movement patterns, reducing muscle tension, and preventing injury, helping unlock range of motion that is often difficult to achieve alone, supporting both rehabilitation and long-term performance. Melissa is passionate about promoting sustainable wellness and collaborates closely with our Flexologist team & each client to create individualized assisted stretching plans focused on recovery, strength, and overall quality of life. Outside of her professional life, Melissa is a devoted mother to two girls and a yorkie, and has been happily married for 15 years. Gianluca values helping people from all walks of life experience the benefits of stretching, whether that means enhancing performance, easing everyday tightness, or simply moving with greater comfort. He believes assisted stretching can play an important role in both recovery and overall wellness, and he is committed to creating a positive and supportive experience for every client.
