Hey, I’m Mat! Yes with one T. Some would call me the Resident Hulk at our studio here in Albany. I love the small town of Crockett I live in, you may or may not know of it. Walking, challenging my body, and lifting heavy odd objects is my jam (strongman/Highland Games competitor). I played college football, got a degree in Exercise Science and fell into strength sports happily. Another passion of mine is showing others how capable their bodies are through strength. Side note I love food and a good drink; all recommendations welcome.

      Chelsea
      Chelsea
      Flexologist
I’ve been a fitness trainer for a little over two years, and nothing makes me happier than helping people move, stretch, and feel better in their own skin. I’m currently working on my NASM certifications in Personal Training and Nutrition while figuring out if I want to dive deeper into exercise science or nutrition (decisions, decisions). I love being part of people’s health journeys—whether it’s celebrating big milestones or just cheering on the small wins that add up. When I’m not in the studio, you’ll probably find me shuffling at a rave, experimenting in the kitchen (sometimes successfully), shooting a game of pool, or just soaking up time with family and friends. :)

      Ty
      Ty
      Flexologist
Hello! My name is Tylor Ledesma, but I like to go by Ty. I am 28 years young, Filipino-American, and my pronouns are he/him. I’m currently finishing up my associates degree for transfer in Kinesiology, where I plan on continuing my studies at Cal State East Bay later in the Fall. I love all sports, specifically baseball. I've played the sport since I was young and over time developed passion for the game. I practice, study, and coach the sport to this day. With my education I plan on becoming an Athletic trainer and continue coaching baseball. I want to teach younger athletes the importance of mobility, how it can build strength, and promote recovery. Being a pitcher riddled with many injuries is what first sparked my interest in learning to properly stretch and train mobility. In the fall of 2025 I was given the opportunity to assist and shadow Contra Costa College’s Athletic Trainer. Here I got hands-on experience learning to tape joints, different stretches, techniques, and different rehab routines. I will always be grateful for the experience because not only have I met so many people I have also learned so many new things. I believe taking on the experience has led me to the opportunity here at Stretch Lab where I can learn and grow even more! I’m ready to share my experience, learn new things, and hopefully help everyone that comes in to move a little better everyday!
